Which fighter took the most visible damage in a win?

Darren Elkins "win" over Mirsad Bektic

How was that a "win"? Elkins got a clear finish.

"Jones was so beat up after the Gustafsson fight, that he couldn't even wipe himself, forcing his coach to lend him a hand.

He got carted... I was waiting at the press conference, Jon and I shared a locker room... and he came right from the fight, on a stretcher, they brought him in the back where the doctors are, cause I was getting stitches on my head and Jon was in there. I got to admit man, it was scary to see a human being like that. His face was swollen shut. He's bleeding out of his eyes, ears, mouth. He was throwing up... He was just so beat up. His body was shaking. I just looked at him and I was like: 'dang, man'"

Nog has to be the all time champ here although Struve has some nasty ones. Despite all of the classic Pride comeback wins, I will say the 3rd Heath Herring fight (which took place in the UFC) was the official straw that broke the camel's back.

Very forgotten fight but Nog looks like an absolute killer in the 1st round then gets hit with one of the nastiest, most flush head kicks you will ever see... and thus became Zombie Nog for the rest of his career. Still amazed he beat Tim after that

Depends on if you compare them to their opponent or not.
* Lawler vs Rory - both fucked up.
* Gus vs Jones - even if Jon is on the stretcher, Gus had a black eye. (And Jon was just on there cause of a toe)
* GSP vs Hendricks -major difference as Hendricks looked untouched. (Allthough gotta say GSP's face looks worse than it is. No huge hematoma or wide open cut anything close to that. Besides cuts below the eyes, his entire face is just red and raw - which might not have been as visible if he had darker skin)

Sylvia after his 3rd fight with AA was pretty messed up

I might need to rewatch UFC 61, in my memory neither fighter took any damage at all, and the fight was boring as shit.
Yeah, I don't want to rewatch that, just the post fights pictures maybe?

I have to say though, their first, second and fourth fights were all very entertaining. The third one, neither guy could pull the trigger after what happened last time I suppose.

As for the thread, mmmmhhhhhh... poor Sakuraba after submitting my boy Zelg "Benkei" Galesic?

I was so sad they had to fight, my hero Saku vs a very cool guy in Galesic that I wanted to see do well, but Saku is the only guy I could NEVER root against.
Zelg is a huge Saku fan too, so the build up was light-hearted

But the fight would end in a horrible knee injury for Benkei, and another concusion for Saku, who got his face pounded in in what seemed to be forever.

What a soul crushing event for me, my boy Kikuno also got done in by Eddie Alvarez... James "The Colossus" Thompson lost to prime Ubereem, and with him my hopes of going home rich (the odds were so insane that I just add to drop 20 bucks on JT inside the distance, I had a feeling man, I had a FEELING! and had James won on a 1 day notice, I would still be bragging about it to 10/10 models with smooooth elbows)

At least Marius "Whitemare" Zaromskis and Dong Sik-Yoon won their fights, even if the Dongbar one against Tarec Saffiedine was controversial. <mma1>
