I would say Dominick Cruz by how he came back through injury and won the title back

Probably Werdum, considering he came through as just a jiu jitsu guy, then knocked out Mark Hunt with a flying knee and beat Cain on the feet.
The one I most enjoy watching is Lawler by far

Probably Conor at his original weight.

I'm still in awe that Robbie Lawler is the reigning WW champ and has successfully defended his belt against two killers.

I'm still in awe he can string a sentence together. Five of his last six were 5-round wars that would have killed any other person.

Conor of course. 2015 certainly was Conor's year. The self-belief and confidence was amazing.

Jones and only Jones.
This and only this, Cormeir isn't the champ, Jones has never lost the title, Jones beats fighters where they are the strongest. He's dominated every fight and title defense minus Gustafsson who is as tough as they come.

Robbie, the man just fights and never disappoints.

Jones and Lawler! (Don't tell me DC is the champion... he's a paper champ)

Most exciting and entertaining champions at the moment.

Werdum. He was the first to beat Fedor, he has had incredible longevity, and improved his striking/wrestling. Most impressive in my opinion.

Jones is also hugely impressive, but he's not technically a current champion. Lawler is also pretty awesome, but I still think GSP would destroy him, so can't top this list. Mighty Mouse is also pretty awesome, but, you know, small.

What? Not even close, he barely beat TJ who's not even nr.1 contender since Faber got the title shot.

Lawler might not even be top 5 in his division. If he fought Wonderboy, Woodley, Hendricks, Condit or Rory oddsmakers would have it at least 50-50 or even Robbie as underdog

If you can make the weight, you can make the weight. Other guys cut more than Conor.

TJ was the former champ though, who dominated Barao twice, and Cruz beat him coming back from his injuries. I am confident Cruz will beat Faber again, it doesn't matter TJ isn't the nr.1 contender anyway. My other pick would be Mighty Mouse.
