Just curious, from your observation as MMA fans and fight fans, which Asian country in your opinion have the most explosive, natural born fighters?

I have been a long time fan of MMA, kickboxing, muay thai, san shou, and it has been my observation over the years that Thailand have the most explosive, natural born fighters out of all the other Asian countries.

Fighters can be taught techniques, but they cannot be taught explosiveness or how to have killer instinct. They either have it or they don't, in my opinion. And the Thais have it.

North Korea

Buakaw, the go-to for the person who doesn't know anything about Muay Thai. "Look at him kick a tree! ZOMG! The best!"

The Melanesians :D

It's culture. Has nothing to do with being a natural born fighter.

Thailand prolly. In b4 someone says pakistan.

1. Russia
2. South Korea
3. Thailand
Nah, Russia isnt asian at this respect. Most people are caucasian... n most population's at european part.
But i wonder why china has so little known fighters...

Damn Mongorians knock down our shitty wall!

You seem to have some kind of obsession with asians and their explosiveness, or rather their lack of explosiveness and athleticism. You're on every thread about asians preaching about their physical inferiority in comparison to whites and blacks.

He caught his girl getting double teamed by a Chinese and a Mongolian.

By "his girl" I obviously mean the local hooker he masturbates to.

You're just making the assumption that all Asians are not explosive.

Stating that Chinese basketball players are not and will never be as explosive as black basketball players due to genetics is stating a fact. I like to keep it real instead of spewing the political correctness bs about "everyone is created equal, with the proper support and help, everyone can make it."

Did you conveniently ignore the part where I mentioned Chinese athletes have significant advantages when it comes to acrobatic sports, e.g. gymnastic and diving?

On average or per capita, I would have to say the Thais followed by the Burmese. Is it because they are darker colored Asians? *shoulder shrug*. They do have good killer instincts though.

But then recently I have been watching Phillipino boxing highlights and their top guys are pretty damn explosive as well. Usually when I think of a Phillipino I think of a passive person (as their country is the only one to be conquered without much effort) who kowtows a lot to foreigners/westerners, hence changing their names and religiously converting over. To see them that aggressive and good in the fight game is surprising lol.

Going back to the Thais. Before they used to beat up the Chinese (and Japanese and Koreans with ease), but over the years the Chinese have developed a style to counter them... so not really sure anymore. Guess one should realize that a country with that many ppl eventually they will find a few top guys to represent, like that Zhang KaYin... Docile funny looking face and soft body, but good skills and power.

If you're referring to their Muay Thai vs. San Shou matches, then it's not that the Chinese have created a style to counter Muay Thai, but rather, they created special rules where they allow for San Shou fighters to use throws, so the San Shou fighters have more chance to win on points with the takedowns instead of straight up striking exchanges.
