Those two seasons are very hit (hero or hate crime) or miss (macs pride, dennis double life, crickets tale, charlie home alone).

I have my own explanation/theory on how to explain the downhill of later seasons. Just pretend they are single character dreams (as explained in the clip show & coincidentally "the gang saves the day" ). Such as the musical, the film noir ep, mac doing ballet for 7 minutes, etc...

Biggest mistake was not making dennis double life about him being on A.P. Bio.

Definitely. Hero or Hate Crime was gold.

Risky Rats and Bowling were strangely close to home, because we had a amazing local arcade/bowling that slowly changed until it sucked. Actually avoidable now.
