Genuine question, as that seemed to be the issue for the Frankie edgar fight too.

Again, problem might be that they want to milk every last drop out of every Mcgregor fight.

With social media these days I think there would be sufficient time to promote the fight to ensure a high buy rate but Conor flying over a few days before the fight and having to make 155 would have been a tall order. Michael Chandler is a better wrestler than Khabib imo. Guy also has Cardio and heart for days, he doesn't quit like Barboza would.

Yeah, no.

I'm a huge fan of fedor and Japanese MMA and that's where It ends. I love all MMA and I'm not biased, I don't have rose coloured glasses on or any of that shit. I am not nostalgic. I am completely objective and unbiased as much as Is humanly possible. It is silly to generalise.

Using Chandler's fights against Will brooks as a way to discredit him is just silly. His wrestling Is very high level and that's what were focusing on here. Which In many ways Is superior to Khabib's. Will brooks was very legit prior to coming to the UFC, who knows why he wasn't able to put it together. He's a mystery to many.

Khabib Is a different animal when he actually gets on top of you though. His combination of wrestling, sambo and judo, he's an absolute mauler If he manages to get you down. Far above Chandler and pretty much anyone else In the division In that sense. When it comes to straight up wrestling, Chandler Is better though imo. Of course that Is debatable depending on who you're asking. There's a few wrestling experts on this forum who may disagree, or may not.

Stylistically, Eddie matches up well against Khabib. It doesn't necessarily mean he'd win the fight, but It's absolutely a winnable fight for him for a multitude of reasons upon analysing the fight on a deep level.

It's not happening though and It wont happen so It's irrelevant.

Eddie's prob one of Khabib's toughest matchups In the division. His defensive wrestling, scrambling ability and ability to get back to his feet Is excellent. Michael Chandler is a better wrestler than Khabib imo. Guy also has Cardio and heart for days, he doesn't quit like Barboza would.

Obviously he's a far superior striker to Khabib as well.

It's a very winnable fight for him stylistically.

That would've been terrible In so many ways.

I feel like the UFC would do everything In their power to prevent Eddie from getting that fight against Khabib or Tony, especially when so much Is at stake. They'd never risk him winning.

Conor wants money, as does the UFC, but they're interested In making big fights that make sense from every angle and they're considerate of the bigger picture.

A lot of people believe things like you mentioned but It doesn't seem to be demonstrable In reality.

What we can say Is that Conor hasn't fought In a minute, anything other than that seems to be speculation for the most part.
