Oh, I absolutely agree. I was just pondering the TS in good faith - re: "where was all this concern for diego years ago". It's been a transformation over time and things have gone from quirky to scary.
 
Everyone knows he's been shot for years. But he doesn't want to quit and they keep giving him fights. He's been liked by pretty much everyone. None of this is new. Best days were like 10 years ago. It's been a question of how long he keeps going.
 
UFC email was asking him to sign that he never took damage in his career. Very shady. Smart of Diego to let his lawyers handle that. UFC then cancels his fight and cuts em and won't speak with him.

They only care now that its far too late,and their anger misdirected.

It isnt always because of the money.

Some people dont know how to be a retired fighter,and go back to being a regular joe. You have plenty of well off fighters who cant quit. What are they supposed to do? They dont know.
 
Sherdog has been questioning Sanchez mental health from before he started screaming yesssss over and over, IIRC the writing was on the wall from the moment he got the prayer hands tattoo, apparently that was enough for some people to condemn him to a life of insanity.

TBH he was crazy all the way to the TUF days. I think his just a strange guy, add Fabia to the mix and you have insanity. I don't think Diego regrets fighting at all just sad his lost his job sooner than he expected. I think he hoped to fight the last 3 fights on his contract and that has been taken away so his gone super nova.

I personally think there has been a lot of love for Diego which shows by how long he lasted in UFC despite not even being close to a contender for many years but still having the competitive spirit.
 
Dude could probably still give some good fights, but what would he lose in place of what he could give us. People for a while now have been concerned. He's always been in fucking wars and it's had to have taken it's toll. He's always had parasites around him as time has gone on, which has made people more concerned. Dan Quinn and now Fabia. He needs to take a break from fighting and get rid of the people bringing him down. Cause when the ship sinks they'll all be gone and he'll be left with all the problems. People aren't showing fake concern, people have been showing real concern for years now.
 
I wanted him stop fighting before his fight against Matt Brown... after the fight i was... Diego please stop!

He shouldnt be fighting at all anymore. It's already been too long. He's nearly at that BJ Penn stage,if not already there.
 
I think he's way past. Just makes ya wonder when ya see fighters at this point. How bad will they be even in a decade and what will they do not being in the right state of mind if that's the case.

When we start seeing women with clear signs of advanced CTE, dementia etc then it will finally hit home. Until then it will just be glossed over.
