Yes it's an outlier; that's the point lmao. If he is a prodigy and wants in the UFC; the UFC could give him real tests, like they did with Lesnar. But instead you're bending your tush and applauding cans getting main card billing under the watered down jobber-card model they're now pushing.

Gall CM Punk was only free money in hindsight; we had no idea if Gall was going to be legitimately atrocious and/or throw the fight.
Hughes-Gracie and Couture-Toney were much safer bets.
Then again: Andrade-Lauren Murphy was only -450 just this year.

I think it was something close like -300. I made some money on that, betting on Hughes of course. That was such an easy pick for hardcore fans. I remember a total causal coming up to me asking my thoughts on the fight and when I said it was an easy blowout for Hughes, he was shocked and said but Royce was undefeated in the UFC.

The bookies odds on him are ridiculous considering he's had three fights in MMA, none in the UFC, and we haven't even seen his chin yet.

The bookies could lose a lot of money this weekend given that Jones, Garbrandt, and Nickal are all favourites.

The welterweight division, by roster signing, has nearly DOUBLE the depth of heavyweight. That is ignoring how this was even more extreme over a decade ago for Lesnar.

This is a stupid comparison by any measure.

Bo is 3-0 as a fighter so he gets the lowest quality UFC fighter, which is a guy with a losing record and no meaningful wins. Common sense.
