Where the Bo Nickal hype at???

To be fair people were hyping Khamzat as a 2 weight champ after he beat John Phillips and Rhys McKee.

Pickett is at least comparable to those two if not better.

Khamzat dealt with them the way you would expect, if Bo struggles with Jaime, he will be seen as less than Khamzat.

People usually aren't hyped on wrestlers. I'm pretty hyped but I can't remember the last great wrestler that people got hyped for.
Tbh it's not just wrestlers, there's lots of gay things people aren't usually hyped on

I think I've read on every sherdog thread, youtube comment section and article on him that he's the greatest college wrestler ever and will become a champion in the UFC, a matter of when not if. He's on the main card of UFC 285 vs a can in his debut and they're giving him a countdown segment. He's fucking hyped out the wazoo and hasn't fought nobody. Meanwhile Rinya Nakamura has beaten better fighters and accomplished just as much as a wrestler. Just fucking annoying.

Is he overhyped? Probably considering he only has 5 fights both pro and amateur and hasn't fought a skilled opponent yet. I will say though that Bo probably has the easier road as middleweight is less well-rounded than the always tough bantamweight division, where just about everyone has solid takedown defense, aside from Vera, and even better striking.

Of the U23 duo though, I do like Rinya better in terms of personality in terms of being aware of his level, his skills, and overall humbleness

Cliffs
  • He already acknowledges that he needs to use his wrestling and pledges that he will try to use it in his next fight
  • He couldn't use his wrestling because both him and Kazama were Japanese fighters that were both working their entire lives to be in the UFC and was forced into a brawl/street fight, thinking that with such stakes on the line a proper dogfight was deserved
  • He doesn't think he is anywhere near Aljamain's level at the moment and wants to improve all aspects of his game
  • (In a different interview) He's aware of leaving himself open to a left hook, which he knew Kazama would try to take advantage of as we saw in the fight and actually did land, but that shows he's aware of his weaknesses.
  • He's more focused on process rather than the results and if continues looking at the process he thinks he can be a future champ.

The 'Dagestani killer' is fighting this week and no one mentioning his name... really?<Durant35>

He an undefeated super prospect... He would end Izzy and Potent inside 1 round. Put some fucking respect on my boy Bo.

Watch... after he gets a first round submission/KO everyone gon be on his dick again
IMO, Bo, will be an amazing wrestler but his hands and overall MMA game I am concerned about..

Lmao, I'm good sir, and you big guy?
I forgot to set my Fantasy Hockey line-up yesterday but other than that, stellar. lol

I will shit my pants if the cage door closes behind Jon Jones Saturday and he actually fights. Legit great main card and this Bo fellow is welcome to shine, or get schooled. Whichever the JBG demands.

He'a beast and all will be a problem for everyone. The reason there's no hype is the gap since he last fought.

Hockey?
No doubt, never really liked hockey much.
Then again I haven't watched any sport other than MMA since 2004 lol.

hes massively hyped, hes 1.05:1 over this guy

massive massive favourite

Gotta at least beat a guy with a Wikipedia page before you expect hype.

MMA is my preferred sport. By a long shot. Just in a league with some sherbros.

I will probably do a tap (That's as close as fantasy MMA gets!) this weekend tho. Probably will pick Bo, lol.

Khamzat beat Ikram Aliskerov, that was a big reason I was hyped on him. An 8-0 prospect who was a Sambo world champ at the time. Also John Phillips is arguably better than Pickett and Meerschart is much more so.

Who would easily be top ten in the UFC

I'll start believing when he fights someone legit with top tier takedown D. Don't get me wrong, he's a great prospect but I'm not going to buy into the future champ hypetrain until we see him fight some decent guys.

It’s not that people don’t see the crazy potential, it’s just kind of underwhelming hype at the moment because it looks like he’s just showing up to crush some job guy

bo nickal definitely has future champ material qualities for sure b. he seems to be working on his striking, doesn't look like a total noob in that department, and that one fight where he rolled into a triangle, to me, shows a lot. if he can put it all together, he will most definitely be a champ in the UFC. don't know about his blue hair days though, but whatever.
