When was Vitor The Lion’s prime?

Vitor is like Rumble, he looks great until he faces real adversity and then he folds.

Well, Vitor is still the one that won when they faced each other.

He was good from the start, but, somewhere in the middle, when his sister was murdered, he looked horrible in that fight...like fatter and not in shape? ...But other than that, he was good from the start up until Jon Jones fight. RIght around here he became Vitor 2.0.

.I always thought Vitor would be the best MW(or with AS of course) ...but in his early days, in a vale tudo fight in a rope ring...check his hand speed out. He looked 170 there. He was fast and powerful and amazing hand speed. IF he didnt focus on weights or mass and stayed at 185, not sure if he could have made 170 but when 18 he could have...that would have been interesting...His hand speed was always night and day betweem his MW fights and LHW fights...Check it out...Rich Franklin had nothing on his hand speed.

Vitor started incorporating kicks and that was amazing to see how good his karate style developed in a short time. However, he went against a Mauy Thai life time martial artist name Anderson. He played karate instead of trying to burst on him? Have no idea why? But I wasnt't in there with AS right..lol. IMO I think vitor was best at MW, and that change in weight over time I think messed with his speed.

Another vote for 2013 TRT Vitor as far as fighting prime goes. His athleticism was close enough to his athletic prime due to all the TRT, and he had well over a decade of MMA experience under his belt and a great team to train with. He was never better.

It's weird how we love Vitor for juicing but hate other fighters that do ie Killashaw or Bones

Peak was def TRT Vitor not only for the "enhancements" but he started turaining with Henri Hooft and realized after like 15 years how to throw kicks

purime was a longer span tho
