My thing is, unless a miracle happens and Jo Jorgensen or Howie Hawkins somehow wins this November we are going to be stuck with either the douche or the turd for the next 4 years. So why not vote for the least bad option out of the two?

She might have well been tied with Trump at that point. If Biden can maintain his massive lead over Trump in the polls on election day then even if the polls are as off as much they were in 2016, Biden will still win a crushing victory over Trump.Alright? If Bernie had gotten in and accomplished even a fraction of what he wanted, we would be in a far better spot than we are now. I'm a socialist, so of course I think that it sucks that once again the US presidential election is between two corporate shills. But hey, it is what it is.
I had that mindset in 2016, so I can understand where you are coming from. But I just don't think this country can afford a second Trump term. Maybe if I lived in a blue state like New York or California, or a red state like Louisiana or Mississippi I would vote third party again. But unfortunately I live in a blue leaning swing state that Trump won in 2016. So if Trump wins again, I at least want to know that I did everything in my power to prevent him from getting a second term.

Well part of it is I don't believe we're automatically better off just because we picked a dem. I learned that from Obama and Hillary. Biden wouldn't challenge big business at all. It would be 4 more years of using social issues like a matador to distract us while they loot the treasury with their buds.
