Actually, he won and still didn’t accept the results, claiming voter fraud cost him the popular vote, then put together a commission to investigate it which found nothing and was disbanded.

This is something I’m seeing as well, even the most left leaning members of my family and friends have been turned off by the riots and are considering voting Trump not because of a Republican thing but a anti anarchy vote. Most Cubans like me will vote Republican anyways but watching what’s unfolding in some cities have REALLY inspired people to go out and vote

It’s also incredible to see the rise of the black conservative on YouTube with movies like “Uncle Tom” by Larry Elder the like. Guys are racking up millions of views and a few are over a million subs. This was something unheard of in 2016. I personally think Trump can break 18% of the black vote and get as high as 20% which would cripple the Dems for a long time to come

For everyone saying dems didn’t accept 2016 and acting as if there’s no basis to suggest Trump wouldn’t accept the results, here’s a friendly reminder that, even in victory, he didn’t accept the results and claimed voter fraud cost him the popular vote, then wasted tax dollars forming a commission to “investigate” which of course found nothing and was disbanded. Yeah I’ll be the first to say it’s not the perfect system currently but it’s the best we have. What I hear being proposed doesn’t exactly give me hope. The problem with other systems is that they ride on the back of the capitalist system and rename it so it sounds nice. When people talk about income inequality I talk about opportunity. How does an immigrant like myself come here with nothing and make it with hard work and a natural born citizen can’t? At some point you have to stop blaming the man and make use of the opportunities America provides. My parents did everything from working at Kroger (where my mothers first check was stolen) to animal slaughter to cleaning homes and they are now both professionals that don’t want for anything. When speaking of opportunity, it's weird to hear the "I'm the product of immigrants, why can't the natives do better?" argument when you can clearly see that immigrants from Sub-Saharan Africa emigrate to the US with much higher educational attainment in comparison to US born black people.

It's easy to seek opportunities when you have a base to work with, which is something poor people across America, not just blacks, face in terms of social investment in their communities. And while people of all stripes face this problem, black people in the US are subjected to systemic problems like predatory lending, medical bias or redlining that make the struggle unique for them, as it always has been.
