If Poatan beats Ank, we are unfortunately getting another Jones cherry-picked title defence.

But i think it wont be for the title
They will strip jones and have him fight perreira

Aspinall will be made undisputed HW champ

It's going to be 5 months coming up now for Jones last fight.

After Aspinall gets another interim defense.. so never.

Yup, that's where the responsibility lies.

And 8 months since Tom fought. When Jon was in a similar position early in his career looking to make his mark and earn some respect as a fighter, he didn't sit around playing with stupid toys, begging another man to let him suckle his nut sack. Jon destroyed 5 UFC Champions in 18 months.

Dude stop living in the past, what he done in the past is irrelevant to what he has to do now.

Jones has to man up and fight Aspinall who's the #1 contender and also holding the interim HW belt, it's simple mathematics. You don't need Einstein to figure this out.

What do you want to Tom to do fight someone else? It doesn't make sense, if you were in Aspinall position would you fight someone lower ranked than you and you can potentially end up losing the fight and then subsequently losing the unified title shot. Thus losing a huge payday.

It's just pure common sense. Jones/Aspinall is the fight to make, if they don't do it, because Jon refuses then he's a coward.

Haha, common sense is definitely not common round here :) If Jon has any intention of fighting Tom or not he will string that stalker on for at least a year just for the hell of it.

You didn't here this from me, but PFL ain't long for this world and Jon might have another target for his next fight in mind.

Yup, that's where the responsibility lies.

Same as with Chandler-McGregor..

The responsibility for one’s own career lies only with that person.

If Tom wants to sit out and wait for Jones for an indefinite amount of time, he can do that. If he wants to put the pressure on Jones to be stripped or take the fight, he can take another fight.

My original comment doesn’t mean I support Jones.. it means that if Aspinall defends the interim belt again, Jones will very likely be stripped if he doesn’t agree to the fight. But it seems like Aspinall is unwilling to do that, and no one should expect Jones to be stripped unless he does.

Aspinall is HW GOAT material right? What’s the danger in fighting one of the cans ranked below him?
