Almost without argument

It'll be
Khabib For the LW title
Aldo x2
Pettis
Lamas
Stephens
Aloe Vera
Cub

vs

Nate Diaz (1-1)
Alvarez
Aldo once
Mendes
Poirier
holloway etc

So Max will have beaten the harder foe for the LW belt
will have defeated Aldo twice and defended his belt
and will have fought the harder guys on his way up

Conor's claim will be that he beat Max, which is significant but not very considering the time and that he beat a guy who beat Max, again not super significant

If Max beats Khabib on late notice, he'll leapfrog Conor and jump his way into the GOAT conversation with one of the best 12 fight winning streaks in modern history

That is true.

However, seeing as Khabib is going to destroy him, it's not relevant.

But what if Conor beats him again?

If Max beats Khabib then Conor could do that to because Max is just like Conor but with better cardio

Max is going to win. Bump this thread when he does.

Lmfao max is getting tooled the fuck up. Khabib will need 0 effort.

Mcgregor destroyed Max with 1 knee.
End of thread
McGregor outpointed Max who had one foot. Don't rewrite history. The fight wasn't very memorable because both of them were young and injured early. A rematch would likely be much more satisfying.

Max has already had a better resume than Conor. His current win streak is longer than Conor's entire UFC career. He's actually defended his title. And he has more victories over ranked opponents.

Obviously, both guys still have potentially long careers ahead of them. And if Conor comes back in the right state of mind, there's no telling how great his resume could end up. But as of now, Max has the better resume.
