When does size and strength overcome skill in a fight?

americans and they lunacy with big men

It's a European phenomena as well

If anyone thinks they are tapping a d1 linemen or a nfl linemen I'll take that bet. It's not happening especially in a street fight. Maybe gi on in a gym, no rules I promise the linemen when 90 percent.
All offensive linemen at that level have two bad knees and no meaningful experience absorbing strikes. If the high-level flyweight MMA fighter can get in a good leg kick before being caught, the flyweight wins, even in a street fight.

D1 American Foosball athletes got dat size an' #AmericanGumption 💯 mi seh dem two tingz cyaan be overcome fam believe mi broski cuz pon di streetz size rules yuh haffi be jack3d fi survive 💪

unless di flyweights dem strapped ting different mi seen enuff WWE fi kno belt shots do mad damage pon di head 🪓 but wut if dem d1 mandem wearin' helmets 🤔 cyaan hit dem skull mi seh dem immune but di helmet affect visibility so maybe di flyweights can flank dem 🔄 grab a heel hook mi swear di football mandem ACL weak like paper clips str8 break dat shit fam game over ⛓️💥🚫🕹️

but den wut if dem got defense pon lock mi seh Pantoja try fi flank but di oddah D1 mandem seh nah fam dats mi bredrin' an catch him wid a spear so hard mi yute haffi tek break from him Uber Eats gig mi cyaan lie 🤔🚫🚘🍔

lotta variables here fam mi seh di safest play haffi be bof jack3d an high-level at scrappin' dats why mi always do mi squats an keep mi on 1 sharp no measure technique sharp ☝🏿🚫📏🙋🏿‍♂️💥😴🪒 versatility pon point mi bredda bless up 💯🔥.

Now do the fight that actually relates to OPs question. The fight that I"m talking about is the one where smaller dude fights a football lineman. So fedor vs Mitrione. How did that turn out for the little fighter? No so well now dids its?

When the damage differential is large enough for it to affect the outcome.

Max Holloway vs DP 2, for example?

I knew a coworker who was small but training to be a kickboxer at a MMA gym, after a training year he was sparring a woman UFC fighter his weight while she was training for the UFC title and even without using his power, he was destroying her in standup. Size beats skill many times.

Tibau, then he beat Khabib.<Dany07><mcgoat><bullseye>

In the Bob Sapp vs Hoost fights it certainly overcame much better skills.

Also, every single Brock win ;)

Yeah was going to mention Bob Sapp, that’s a great case of size and aggression beating skill.

And Brock was not bigger than Carwin (even with Carwins height cutting ability)

Could division 1 offensive linemen take on the UFCs flyweights in a fight?

Size and strength play a role when the skill and knowledge becomes similar and even

Don't get it confused with a novice and an expert as a small guy will use his knowledge and skills to utilize his size advantage and disadvantage as will the bigger guy..

As a 125 pound BJJ guy vs a 265 div 1 linemen if that linemen understands bjjs and the basics he can survive and has a good chance..

In a fight a 125 pound UFC fighter vs a div 1 linemen I give that linemen a .01 chance if that linemen did BJJ wrestling kickboxing then it's a different story..

But we're still talking about a UFC level guy .

Depends on the individual.

Alot of linemen could run through 170 let alone the 125 pound shrimps. Alot of the linemen couldn't beat anyone in UFC at any weight (women excluded).

Is really funny how you americans treat these nfl guys like they something special lol! What these linemans do? All of them would be killed by a ufc fw in 4 minutes
