When did the mutual respect between Nate and Conor disappear?

It's still there. They're just gearing up for the fight.

This is what it looks like when a Diaz respects their opponent

It's just to sell the fight. Whether or not some crazy Mexican shoots at Conor's Rolls-Royce when he driving around Cali, is another story.

When Conor remembered he gets a cut of the PPV sales, and more beef means more sales.

Sure they respect each other. And I'm also sure Nate doesn't give a fuck about anything.

It didnt. The heat is on and they are preparing for war.

When Nate saw this Midget Jalopy do this, who wouldn't lose respect for this leprechaun?

I think it's the steroids comment ..

I'm sure there still is but they are just in combat mode. They are a fan of each other deep down because they have similar mindsets. They thrive in hostile environments and confrontations. They need to generate some type of beef towards their opponent to be at their best.

That's why I don't think either guy is shook. The more drama and confrontations before a fight the better these perform.

It never existed. Conor was in over his head and didn't realize it. He finally knew he was in trouble during the first face off after he punched Nate's hand. Go watch it again and notice the fear overtake him when he is being held in the loving arms of the uniformed police officer. Conor's body language at that moment says it all. He was scared as FUCK.

Somewhere between gun signs and balloon animals.

Conor lost respect for Nate the moment he realised that Nate was not going to engage him in any real trash talk and it would fall on him to carry the promotion for this fight.
Nate has his fans, Conor has his but Conor is trying to reach non-fans and other casual mma fans and make them interested enough to buy the PPV.
Nate is refusing to play this promotional game so Conor is forcing it on him in ways that he would not have done if Nate had participated in it.

When Conor tried to punk Nate and Nate shut him down with simple, unscripted rebuttals.

Now Nate is in Conor's head and Conor realizes he's in over his head, but is attempting to mind-fuck himself into believing this is going to be another easy fight.

Maybe because Conor gets PPV points and Nate doesn't.
