I'm 31 and the Donald Trump I've always known built hotels and golf courses then starred on his own reality TV show.
 
I wonder how much of the golden years of the 40s and 50s he attributes to the presidencies of FDR and Truman.

Do you have any idea what most world leaders think of things like gay marriage, transgenderism, safe spaces, fake racism and reality TV scrubs?...lol. I just pointed out how stupid what you said was..the only reason the world leaders think that America is a laughable joke, is because of weak leadership and the tenants of Liberalism.. that wacky shit you do in America, and here in the UK will NEVER take off in most countries. For you to say that the US is being laughed at, because of republicans, when you have:

Students literally crying, and receiving psychological care because someone wrote "Trump 2016"
Having a Man being named as the "woman of the year"
Having Students of America burn and stomp on the flag
Having your leader go on an apology tour while radical Islam sets its sights on you
Having serious discussions about if a "little boy is really a boy"
Having your leader refuse to say the words "radical islam"

Is fucking insane

And the list could go on and on...but yeah, the world definitely thinks the US is "a joke" because it STILL isn't gay enough...my god, you need your head examined man..quit acting like the rest of the world is gay and you have some catching up to do. The leaders that apparently are laughing at the US, according to you, are laughing because of how absurd America has become, not because it isn't absurd enough...look around the planet, seriously

I don't fall into that category but I don't see a problem with it either.

I think it's perfectly rational to come to the realization of how great our country is and how good of a job Obama did when faced with the prospect of an egomaniac authoritarian president or a humorless Dr. Evil. Seriously, the candidates on the right are so bad it may have awoken some people and that's ok. I think people on the right are waking up too because they've lost their party (at least the rational Republicans).

Most of them, even the ones that Obama "gets along with" laugh at him like the joke he is behind closed doors. The things that Obama has promoted as president, are offensive...even illegal in most countries around the world

For my first few years of elementary school, we still did bomb drills. We did the hiding under the desk thing. It was more to protect from the building caving in on us than to save us from the nuclear blast.
 
Latter half Nineteenth century and early Twentieth century in the US was the period with the greatest standard of living increases the world has since ever seen, and conveniently also had the least intrusive government.
