An electric sander is a great tool to have for these projects, I couldn’t have smoothed the post out as uniformly and as efficiently as I did sanding by hand, also improves primer bonding.
Pretty inexpensive piece of equipment.

You made me think of going to World Market to look for bench cushions, I was already thinking about ordering some couch pillows off Red Bubble with one of my nature photography pics.

Do the latter, that sounds wonderful. Post pics after they're delivered and you have them set up. Or you could get a big long one if the measurements work.
 
I just snagged an EBay For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge Eddie guitar for $70 which when I clean it up and swap out some nice Floyd Rose pick ups can probably get $650/700 for. Been a while since I did that, which is nice.

Get out to the range when I can and burn through 400 bucks worth of 5.56 , .45 and 10mm

Bout it really I'm kind of boring and keep a pretty steady routine.

What's your favorite gun and why.

Juat curious.
I'm not American, I've only ever shot air rigles and the occasional shotgun due to the law where I've lived but I'm still interested in what you like shooting with and why.

My glock 29 10 mm compact edc gun. I'm rather attached to it , almost as if at the hip. It's jokingly referred to as my Linus blanket. If you are looking at me in front of you it's there right side pistol left side mags.

I love to shoot it. Feels super natural to me , it's got a satisfying balance and report and I know that if I have to use that thing it's going to do the job . It's also the gun in my collection that says no matter where I go no matter what happens I always have a say in the outcome so it has taken on a more special meaning to me.

Then its got sentimental value just like my rosary does where it's basically gone on almost every single mile of my life's journey for a long time now like your trusty friend and Goodluck charm all at once. Also just year in year out being the daily weapon my and my families safety might depend on has kinda given it that this is my fave gi joe /ninja turtle kinda vibe.

This gun is also wrapped up in my cultural identity as an American where there is a pride in our bill of rights and feeling like a freeman exercising that right so carrying a gun in my case that glock 29 feels like a very American thing to do .

I often tell my wife that the day my son inherits my rosary and my 29 I want it to be the happiest , saddest and one of the proudest moments in his life. You are the man you now possess the sword of your father.

-Listen to music. Could put on a record or slide in a tape.
-Writing.
-Drinking until I get black out drunk and make a fool of myself.
-Talking to the bunnies and cuddling my cat.
-Go for a walk, hang out beside a pond, enjoying the sun.
-Going out thrifting.
-Visiting my bestie.
-Watch a VHS tape. Still so many movies I have yet to see.
-Take my cameras out n snap some pictures.
-Play on my retro gaming consoles.
-Also love to play solitaire on the computer lol, can do that for hours.
-Reading.
-Haven’t painted or drawn lately but I’ll get back to it.
-And unfortunately I spend way too much time just thinking and getting worked up.
