I like Garland Thumb. Easy to watch and listen to, keeps things simple.
I watched nutnfancy for a little bit, but tired of him pretty fast. Something about him just rubbed me the wrong way after a while.
MAC and Hickok45 are my go to review channels, though.

I can't stand nutnfancy. There are a few good reviewers out there. I can't stand some of these reviewers constantly giving glowing reviews of everything.

Nutn is just bitchy. Also, has never fixed his audio.
I agree about the constant glowing reviews. I think they’re just afraid to offend people, especially if they borrowed the firearm from someone to do the review.

They get paid for these reviews so it's probably in their interest to do fluff pieces on everything. Looks good to the company paying for the review and other companies that know they will also likely get a good review. If you have a coupon code for the product you are reviewing I'm pretty much going to ignore the review because those guys can make a shit load of money on those codes.

I was glad to see garand call out lwrc on their issues.

It's pathetic how some of these guys speak very highly of something, influencing people to spend hundreds-thousands on a pos product. Then much later on they seem to trash said product after real world reviews come out.

Nutn fancies himself this "I would live in a world without law" sorta guy when.. I'm pretty sure all he does is push paper for an actual job and he refuses to change up what he runs to try new things unless it's some POS KelTec. I have the same issue with Yaeger as he one time said all pistols should be 9mm and all 9mms should be Glocks until he got confronted by folks living in Wyoming, Montana, and Alaska like "a 9mm won't stop a bear dipshit".

Then he said he was going to try a new version of a 1911 and when the thing didn't jam after 3000 rounds suddenly he stopped making vids with it.

At least with GT he tells you his relationship with a company, whether he got the gun for free from them to review, if they went ammo with it yaddayaddayadda and he will STILL bury them if he doesn't like them. Those Dessert Tech MDRs come to mind as he THRASHED those in his initial review.
 
Flannel Daddy is the man. I like James Reeves from TFBTV, he is an unabashedly glock homer though.
 
I think I might buy an X5 legion and then some different grip modules and slides. It would be cool to have multiple guns in 1 type of thing. It takes all of 30 seconds to swap the fcu into another grip.

Can you mix and match calibers? Like you buy the X5 in 9mm. Can you slap a .45 slide on it?

Tbh I'm not exactly sure.

If I remember correctly people were getting the 45 fcu to work with 9mm, 40, etc modules and slides. I'm not sure of the reliability but the reports I read sounded like they did just fine. But 9mm fcu won't let 45 mags be inserted.

Did a quick search. I don't know how these break down or if the serialized part is different. I've looked for a 45 serialized frame. Can't seem to find one. I've seen 2 websites that say the serialized frame they are selling is not compatible with 45.

Funny how it's all interchangeable but .45.
 
Bought the X5 Legion, a carry grip module, 3.9" slide, mags, etc. Waiting on a barrel to get in stock.

Will update with exact parts and pics when I get them.

Didn't do too bad on the Legion. Overpaid by about $140 compared to what they were going for last year. But paid $100-150 less than what some sites and GB have them going for.
 
Pretty much just getting things to complement my gear at this point

Bought a full load out of velcro over the top double 556/single 752x51 mag pouches for my velocity systems scarab

Bought the remaining inserts i could use for my spiritus mk4 chest rig

Bought a damn ghille suit....the fact that i could justify one is pretty concerning to me
