The mesa is a good gun, well made very accurate. The ridgeline I have is a 308 and it came with a 20" barrel and a tinney trigger. It's a nice gun.

I ended up ordering the mesa long range a few months ago to hunt caribou with out on the tundra where it's hard to sneak up on them because it's mostly flat with very few trees. I haven't hunted with it yet but I loaned it to my boss who shot a caribou with it out near the aniakchak river by the caldera out there.

I don't think I'd want to hike much with it but it's a seeet shooter. For hiking I like the ridgeline or one of my kimbers better.
 
Picked up a Ruger Super Blackhawk 44 w/burris scope, case, and a leather shoulder holster for $575 off a guy at work.

I could trade it for an Arex 9mm.

Not sure...I need a threaded barrel 9mm. Hmmmm.

Almost inherited a Super Blackhawk 44 but it got stolen. :(

You shot an Arex? Mine's going to the range for the first time over the holiday. I forgot to take it out last time. :oops:

Also got a billet Spikes upper and all the receiver small parts from a friend for about $200. All I need now is the buffer tube and stuff and handguard. And I'll be set.
 
Going for a super lightweight build I could put a suppressor on someday.

Want a fixed DD front sight but everyone is sold out. Bastards.

The DD one isn't cheap obviously as it's around $90 but $140 ish for a fixed Front sight... like... does it come with Kayden Kross to suck my dick every time I go out shooting?

Good analogy.

Grabbed some more of the small parts like QD swivels and endplates and such today.

Basically have everything BUT the buffer tub, buffer, and buffer spring and BCG. Hoping I can get those at my LGS and see if I can connive them into giving me a loyalty discount on the BCG.

Obviously worst case I could just use the BCG I have in my current gun but that'd limit me a tad I think.
