OOOOOOO, stripped is fine with me, gives me a shot to get some more unique things for the upper and lower.

Yeah man, the nightforce SHV I have is sweet so I'm getting another one. All I shoot anymore is my kimber Montana 308 so getting another in 6.5cm makes sense....add the shorter barrel on the Adirondack and it should be about perfect.

Things have been busy as hell here but looks like I can fit in a week next month for the winter moose season. Hopefully I can drop in the alagnak river and get some meat.

I won a ruger American 6.5 cm today at a village turkey shoot. 3 rounds at 500yds. 10 dollar buy in, winner got 500 bucks cash, 2nd was the rifle, 3rd was a 250.00 fuel credit at the village gas pump.

I didn't care about winning as much as I cared about finally showing the locals that I can shoot.

It's like a 300 dollar gun so the first prize really was better.

I'd say chop it down to 16" and do other cheap weight saving things. With 140gr it will have almost 1600fpe moving at 2250 fps at 200 yards from the 16" barrel.
