Suit yourself. But it's not likely to lower the value to put 50-100 rounds through it. Shit, I shot my matching left/right pair of 1911's that together cost 10x what your Kimber did.

I sold 3 P22's a couple of weeks ago with free laser attachments. Kinda wishing I would've bought one for me now . . . .

Can you provide the specific Sig model number?

I'm seeing several wholesalers with P226's but nothing specifically stating P226 Extreme

I take that back . . . found it . . . but it's allocated. I've got a bunch more I can check with and will keep looking.

Serrations/visual features which are subjective to the worth.

Their grips are great. Real texture. Subjective but they won't need talon grip tape if you like more traction.

I got my fde p227 for $699. A Glock 21 in a fde or whatever with the worst factory sights available is like $50-100 less.

A P226 extreme was just on sale for $683(link in another post). For $133-183 more than Glock I just think it is much better. Looks are subjective but I think Sig's look 100x better than Glock. Glock is about the most boring, plain, etc gun made imo.

I've owned 4 different models of Gen 4 glocks, all bought new, and I've never paid $600. I bought them all for $500-$550 out the door.

Zanders wants like $175??? Amazon, optics planet, even Bass Pro has all models available and aren't even $120. Amazon has the full kit, with all gun model bodies included, for $115.

That's the MSRP . . . stuff rarely sells for the MSRP. That's no where near my cost through Zanders.

Bass Pro has them on sale in their current 2A flyer . . .

The 226 comparison to 17/19 was at the 500-550 mark.

The Glock 21 with some kind of cerakote, hydrodip or whatever I've only seen for 599-699+ in a short time looking. Omaha outdoors has a few cerakoted glocks on gun broker for like $799 :eek:
 
I get 9mm at $200 per 1000 rounds. .40 at $220. .45 at $260 (plus shipping, no tax).

In free states .45 ammo is $.06 more per round. Spends $1300 on a 1911 shoots 9 and 40 plenty but can't put more than 50 rounds through 2 1911's in 8 years o_O

I can see this is really bothering you.

Tell ya' what I'm gonna do...I'm gonna take tomorrow off, spend the entire day in my garage reloading ammo from spent shells I've collected over the years, and I'm gonna shoot that gorgeous weapon like it's never been fired before (literally)!

Just seems odd to me tbh. I couldn't imagine buying a nice firearm and not shooting it.
