What's Your Next Purchase? V5

"Newer" as in what time frame?

I purchased both my Kimbers in 2008...

That USMC Colt is pretty dope...they seem to retail right around the same price as Kimber.
My understanding when I last looked at them was the 2012 and later models.

The Colt is pretty awesome but I can't find the damn thing on their website anymore so I am wondering if they discontinued it.

I've had a P229 40 cal for over 10 years...take it out about 5 times a year, put about 200-300 rounds through it each time...never had a problem, but I've never fallen in love it, or anything.

Glock, or bust, for me!

Glocks and Kimbers, that is!

Ever shot a Kimber 1911 .45?

Thanks.

Unfortunately, theft prevented me from inheriting a Kimber 1911. I do have a few 1911's though. In fact I just put a few mags through my recently acquired CZ 1911 (assembled by Dan Wesson). :)

Nice!

I wish I could say the same about by 1911s! I've put 50 rounds through my Kimber Custom II and ZERO rounds through my Custom Covert II.

Ammo is too dang expensive!

With nice 1911's nobody is going to sympathize over the cost of ammo. :(

You purchased those in 2008 and one has zero rounds through it?

I'm in L.A. I can shoot that thing out my kitchen window and no one would bat an eye!

It's too pretty to shoot, don't you think!?

No. That's what it's made for.

I would have shot that thing immediately. It's not really rare or old so it doesn't qualify as a pretty paper weight/safe queen imo.

I can understand not shooting a collectable item that will increase in value but that is a production line item.

First of all... Sig, why do you have 22 DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF THE SIG P226 YOU SONS OF BITCHES?!

Second... Why does this one:

Come in FDE standard... I hate FDE... ffffuuuuu
I may be confused about what you are saying. The Sig Scorpion models always come in FDE, that's what makes them Scorpion Models. If it wasnt FDE, then it's basically just a standard black P226.

Also FDE is awesome

I need to buy a 1911 . . . just because.

Can you spare some change??? .45 ammo is crazy expensive in Cali!

I'd like to buy a Streamlight TLR-6 (Light/Laser Combo). Amazon has a kit that includes the housings for all available gun models (I think there's 6 it fits?) for $115. Standard price on these is around $100 anyways, and I'm not sure whether I'm putting it on my Shield or my Glock 27, so this way I have an option for both. I'm also considering picking up a Glock 43, so this would cover all 3 guns.

Only hold up is trying to find a good holster for AIWB for the shield with the TLR-6. I'd like an INCOG eclipse, but they only have a TLR-6 holster for the glock 43 at the moment.

I thought they were called "Scorpion" based on the beavertail. WHOOPS.

Also, there's nothing wrong with FDE but given I live in WA.... it's pointless., even if I was on the east side of the state which is drier I'd be running more of a Burnt Bronze or Coyote Brown on my guns instead of the sniper green I have been running.

I hate the housing for the Streamlights... they all look so cheap.

I think 5 different triggers, different barrel sizes and threaded options, full size/compact frames, multiple color schemes, added features such as beaver tail, front serrations, etc.
Fffffuuuuuu....

THERE'S TOO MANY TO PICK FROM!

Guess I should hold one first before making up my mind too.
