What's Your Next Purchase? V5

I took it back to the dealer and they gave me another one. Did the same thing. I took it back and the dealer wanted to de oil it and trim down a spring. I told them I shouldn't have to be modifying a $1000+ gun just to get it to function properly. I asked for my money back, but I ended up loosing $100 on the deal.
I called and talked to someone at Sig about it and they're supposed to be getting back to me about them making up the difference in price. They offered me a pellet gun to make up the price but I'm standing firm at I want my $100 back.
Am I being unreasonable?
This is the first time I've thrown a stink about something from my dealer. I've had issues with other things in the past and they've stood by everything else I've got from them, but this is the only thing they've gave me the run around on.

I don't think it's unreasonable to want the $$$ back. Sigs pellet guns are cool but I'd try to get someone different personally...some
Magazines for my 229 or some of their new ammo or something.

I thought it was a joke to offer a pellet gun honestly.
I'd rather have the money. Only other Sigs I have are a couple of 1911's and I have plenty of clips.

I'd imagine the pellet guns aren't made by sig, just like Rugers. They probably have a shot ton of them and were told by management to use them as compensation.

That being said though, I don't know what sort of an outdoorsman you are but high end pellet guns can be really useful for rodents, popping bottles and teaching new shooters the ropes with firearms.

About the only thing I hunt anymore is coyotes. I'm getting $65 for an unskinned one atm.

Shit that's pretty good. Things are everywhere where I'm from in New Mexico. Shit, 10 a month would pay rent at 65 dollars a pop.

I'm in ND so they have a pretty decent coat on them now. I'm at 36 for the season so far. They're getting kind of thin so I'm having to move out of my normal areas which is always interesting. Since it's been abnormally warm I've had to get pretty aggressive in calling which has made it tough.

What do you get them with? I used to love using a 22-250 or a 204 ruger.

Bolt action 22-250. I've got an AR10 chambered in 204 also that I use some times but I prefer a bolt action.

Something for my AR-10 like an Ergo Grip or the brake.

Ha! San Diego, so no better. Hoping to get the job in OK City. The pay isn't great, but the firearms restrictions are lax. It'd just be for a 3 year contract.

Cost of living has gotta be relatively low there.

I have a Sig 2022.

Terrible trigger, feed issues with some ammo, expensive magazines, tall slide that recoils so slowly that it throws my follow up shots off.

Read somewhere that Sig builds a fine pistol, but can't mass produce with any sort of quality.

I've had a couple other 1911's and I really like the Sigs, the Tacops is my favorite after the Coonan. I'm not into modifying anything either.

Strange, the 2022 has a pretty epic following and reputation as an excellent pistol. Maybe you got a bad one.

Damn, mine has given me zero problems man, and this is the first time i have read where someone has had this many issues with one.

My only real reliability issue is the feeding. That may be related to the slide recoil, which I feel has gotten worse after 500-1000 rounds. Also it consistently hits low.

I'm sure everything else is as it was intended. I just don't like the trigger and how high the slide sits above the trigger.

Failure to eject, feed, stove pipe?

Slide recoil? Are you limp wristing the gun?

Also the SP2022 has a combat sight hold, the center of the front sight's dot is the point of impact at 25 yards. So if you don't aim with that in mind it will be low.
