Elections What's your final prediction in who wins in the US 2024 election?

Who's going to win?

  • Donald Trump

  • Kamala Harris

Results are only viewable after voting.
Please explain how my post was bullshit you can’t can you.
I observed that Americans are shallow and will vote for someone that is appealing regardless of lack of substance. You used Trump as an example which completely supports my premise.
Are you drunk or just obtuse?
Or both.

Bunch of contentious nerds in here. If one doesn’t come out with abject hatred for Trump it’s naturally assumed that one supports him.

That's nuts, IMO. Trump's policies involve throwing millions of Americans off their health insurance, exploding the deficit with more giveaways to the rich, wrecking SS (if not intentionally, as many Republicans want to do, unintentionally by worsening the funding issue). If you're not a rich person who cares more about a bigger slice of the pie for the rich than a growing economy or a religious nut, what's the policy case for Trump?
What does it have to do what what I said?

It's close.
She is a fresh face with no baggage and brings new energy.

But I think Trump wins. There are voters for him that aren't announcing it do to fear of retaliation, so he picks up those votes.

Yeah, why don’t you expound on that AI Jack?
Man, you're elderly. That kind of talk is so undignified.
What are your beliefs briefly?
Your brief beliefs, boxers or tidy whities.
And where do you keep this substance?
I keep mine in a vape.
OK
You want a Crash Davis-style recitation?
When it comes to politics, I'm a liberal--pro-market, equal rights, representative democracy, gov't based on reason rather than inherited status, religion, tradition, etc.
What does it have to do what what I said?
You said this: "(Trump would) probably win if he'd tone down the rhetoric and talk a bit about policies." I'm saying that if the election were a referendum on Trump's policies, he would get blown out. Even most Republican voters don't agree with Republican policies (they vote more on the basis of cultural affinities).

Yeah bro...I've definitely seen you accuse people of having "TDS" in here etc. Nobody does that who isn't gargling his balls.
And what got his panties in a bunch was him making a crazy claim about what Harris would do, and me just wondering if he was bullshitting or really that dumb. His response indicated that he was bullshitting.

Hahaha, the tiny cavalry is here.
You must be thrilled Jack to have any manner of back up.
You kids are pedantic and loquacious and totally unappealing for any interaction.
It’s Friday night and I have a life!
But go take a little victory lap queers.
Lol

Watch it, man. You're going to give yourself a heart attack.

But it's not a referendum on policies. I'm talking about how he runs his campaign. He unfortunately doesn't need solid policies. He needs policies that sound good.

"They eat our cats" won't get him undecided voters. It will please his hardcore fanboys and leave the rest of the country wondering wtf is wrong with him.

I think that talking about policy hurts him, and he knows it. Talking about culture-war stuff or immigration generally helps him, though, yeah, sometimes he says stuff that's dumb enough to hurt. He knows what he's doing, or at least people in his campaign do (remember, he doesn't have actual views about policy that matter to him--it's all marketing). He can't memorize anything really complex or explain his views, but he can follow instructions like "keep talking about immigration or inflation--doesn't matter what you say specifically."

There is about 40 days left, who do you think will win?

**None of your votes will be shown, so you can vote anonymously.**

**And you can't change your vote, so vote honestly**

**Also you can't view the results until you vote**

I had Trump winning when Biden was still there and after the first assassination attempt.

Once Harris got in the picture, I had her winning this in a with a decent margin. But now I'm not sure. It's really close.

But If I had to pick and I will pick, however I'm not going to reveal it here. : - ) Let's just see what the results will be.
I have a bad feeling Kamala will win and if she does our country is done.

Nah, not caring enough. And stop with the transference of stress. That’s you, not me.

Hey btw, I heard you and Hula get paid to post here.
Not fair!

I'm not following super close but Trump just looks to me like the wind went out of his sails after Biden dropped out. Seems like he doesn't care anymore, won't do another debate, wasn't up for the last one and saying he's not running anymore. Maybe all he wanted to was to beat the guy who beat him and now it'll never happen, I don't know but he's definitely lost some steam which he never ever seemed to run low on.

Yeah, bases are always rock solid. Thats why theyre called bases. Harris can answer every single question with "Well....my mother was a working class woman and we both believed in values and equality..." and her base still pulls the lever for her. What's your point?

I swear, people act like it's only the "other side" with voters that are voting for them no matter what.
Trump's base is even more solid. They get in line and vote no matter what.

Just because a few taylor swift fans in non-swing states are 'yas kweening' Kamala on your social media timelines, it doesn't mean she has the same bedrock.

If you're not following then why should your opinion on wind in sails mean anything? Trump has been slowly climbing in the swing state polls since the debate.

Trump is the President America deserves.

Just let him do one more term, he does ok economically and then he is gone forever.
Otherwise he is going to pop up again next time. Just win everywhere else and prevent him from being effective.
