What's your dream matchup that you always wanted to see that no one ever talk about?

Some people in here saying fights that were heavily discussed and even scheduled at one point like Jones/Rumble and Fedor/Barnett.

Not sure if it's me who's confused or ya'll.

Also, Crocop vs Kharitonov in the mid 2000 would have been amazing (no, their previously scheduled Glory fight doesn't count).

Prime tony vs max holy shit that would’ve been an absolute banger
Prime Tony vs. Max, Poirier or Eddie Alvarez circa 2016-18 would've been great fights. I also wish he would've fought Gaethje and Nate during that period instead of later. You could tell Tony was slowing down during the Pettis and Cerrone fights even though he won. And clearly not the same by his 2020 fight with Gaethje.

Frankie Edgar vs. Cruz right after Frankie lost his belt (in a borderline robbery) to Bendo. Basically, Frankie moves to BW instead of FW after that fight.

Sakuraba vs Bustamante
Henderson vs Randleman
Anderson vs Manhoef
Overeem vs Cain
Bj vs Aoki
Condit vs Semtex
Nick vs Masvidal
BJ destroys Aoki when both were in their primes. BJ had very good TDD (Aoki was no GSP or Hughes when it came to TDs), could handle himself fine on the ground and had MUCH better striking. Both Gilbert Melendez and Eddie Alvarez (rematch) showed Aoki's limitations against more well-rounded fighters, especially in a cage.

Any combination of Kimo, Tank and Goodridge in Ultimate Ultimate 96. All 3 were in the tournament, were still pretty young and pretty much at their peak. Tank and Kimo fought many years later and had a celebrity boxing match (ended in a draw), but fighting at age 45 is very different than fighting at 30.

Oh sure , I completely agree that Bj fucks him up pretty bad , I was more curious to see Bj’s guard passing against Aokis tricky bottom game . But your probably right and it wouldn’t even come to that

Pride Wand vs Vovchanchin
Wand did open weight, Igor went down to light heavyweight but it was never discussed sadly

Demian Maia vs. Wonderboy, anywhere from like 2012 - 2016. Also, Yair Rodriguez vs. Calvin kattar.

There’s quite a few but first one came to mind was Anderson vs Shogun.

It would have been an intriguing battle with shogun’s takedowns, his strong chin, and Anderson having dangerous precision striking.

Considering Fedor was TKO'd by Hendo, I think the size wouldb't be an issue. Shogun is bigger than Hendo
Very good, good angle. But remember that fight could have been stoped, Hendo was almost done. That fight was weird, and late in their career. Hendo is so tought and strong, thats why you have a very good angle. And Hendo and shogun had great and competive fights.
At the end, you are right, Shogun have his chances, but because style makes fight, shogun might try to kickbox Fedor ... and fedor would hurt him bad.
