There will always be people who express their dislike for WMMA, and there will always be homophobes. Also some people are pissed off because Nunes is headlining a PPV event, not because it's her that's fighting necessarily but because she's one of the few elite WMMA fighters and that means she has to fight a can, which makes this upcoming fight for a belt sort of a joke.

Another thought - If a male fighter had his girlfriend around every second during an Embedded that would be sort of annoying because who cares about her, so when Nunes does it it's annoying too, and do you have to show gay pride every fricking time.

I think it’s a combination of things:
1) Cancelling on Shevchenko rematch at the last minute.
2) Fighting a safe snoozefest in said rematch.
3) Violently defeating Tate, who is mostly a fan favorite on this forum.
4) Not attempting to be a sex symbol, in the way that Ronda, Miesha, Paige, Zingano, and even Angela Magana did.

I think a lot of the hate is because she pulled out of that big fight last minute with a stuffy nose or whatever,plus she's just not a likeable character.She's generally fun to watch though and has good power and combinations rarely seen with the females.Hopefully Rocky can gas her by pushing the pace and wrestling a bit and get something done later in the fight but I don't count on it.Looking forward to Nunes vs Cyborg at some point but idt either girl wants to risk anything making that fight despite all the bullshit talk they do.

Did you see that footage (maybe a countdown?) with him and Mike Ricci going shopping and acting all snobby?Then at their house they were acting like some sort of billionaires for a couple girls.It was so cringy.Those materialistic snobs are always easy to dislike.The shit he says and always having that emotionless face is annoying too.I like Rory cause i'm more of a fan of fighting first and pretty indifferent to all else but Rory isn't someone i'd want to be friends with that's for sure.
