For the ladies.. Reese is awesome in ‘Freeway’ (1st film I ever saw her in)
And both J-Law and Adam’s steel the show in ‘American Hustle’ for me
If you had to pick one of those, which would it be?
Anyone who hasn't seen F. Murray Abraham as Salieri in Amadeus has missed one of the greatest performances ever given...

It’s tough because they’re great performances combined with some of my favorite characters (like Anton).. with that character there’s so much subtlety and nuance in playing that role that there’s a pretty high level of difficulty in playing it where as roles like Bill the Butcher and Stansfield there’s a static energy and intensity to them that is the opposite.. tough to say really.. then you get to Denzel and Norton who had to play very layered roles which requires its own set of rules.
As for Mickey, Brad sort of invented that character and did such a good job that even the English folks he was working with were blown away. I think this film is one of the few that actually demonstrates the acting ‘talent’ Brad has, where many of his other roles he just sort of ‘fits’ into.
It’d be hard to pick just one tbh
Robert Downey Jr. playing Kirk Lazarus as Lincoln Osiris. He even had to undergo an ethnicity swap procedure and stayed in character until the DVD commentary
My favorite movie of all time. That movie, in general, doesn't get the recognition it deserves - and that was an amazing performance. One thing I will say though - the extended edition drops it a peg. Ruins some of the intrigue and mystery, just for the payoff of seeing some boobs. They made the right call in cutting what they did for the theatrical release.
I just watched that recently and I don't think Tom Cruise really gave a great performance here.A lot of great performances in this film..

The real talent was the makeup artists who made him unrecognizable. But if you just pay attention to what he does, he just pretty much plays the same character he always does.
F. Murray Abraham in this scene from Louie
This is the first and only time you ever see this character.
