I think it's doubtful no matter who his opponent is. I've never found Bisping exciting to watch but he seems like a decent guy, so nothing against him. He normally just wins by boring decision. Against top competition he's never consistently won which is why he's never had a title shot in 10 years of fighting in the UFC. Many have called him a gatekeeper.
As champ against the UFC's current top MW's he will lose to these fighters, these fighters being Jacare, Romero, Weidman, and think about this, even old, past his prime Anderson if they rematched. If Anderson had finished up after than knee rather then celebrate prematurely thinking he'd won, it would have been over for Bisping. Or if Anderson hadn't let off the gas when he had Bisping hurt numerous times, Bisping would have been finished.
So, what do you think the chance of Bisping fighting and actually defending his newly won MW belt?
Nothing against Bisping but I just see him losing his first title defense.
