Food & Drink What's the best cuisine in the world?

Good ol fashioned ‘Murican food

I like Italian due to the use of cheese.

I haven't had a lot of Greek, but that was my top choice before I even saw the list.

I experiment with using cinnamon in weird ways because of it.

A little on peperoni pizza is legit

Love Jamaican food.

When I lived in Florida, I always had to have my Fix of Jerk Chicken with all the sides and a Ginger Beer, or a Spicy Beef Patty with Cocoa Bread.

Peruvian food is incredible. Outside of NYC, I've never seen a Peruvian restaurant in the US though.

That's wild to me. There's at least five here in Portland. And another 3 in neighboring cities. That's not even including the Peruvian food carts.

Damn thread actually made me crave Peruvian food so guess where I'm posting from...

Greek no 1 is crazy
it isn't even better than its neighbors
Italian Turkish and even Croatia food can all give Greek food a run for the hills

Agreed.

It's better than Central and Northern European cuisines but at the bottom among the southern European ones. And of course, below many of the cuisines from the rest of the world.

It should be around 15-20. Being #1 is laughable.

Jamaican is tops in the Caribbean, IMO.

And really, one of the best in the Western Hemisphere. After Peruvian, Mexican, American, and maybe Brazilian, I'm struggling to think of a country I'd put ahead of them.

Yeah, all the major metro areas are gonna have them.

NYC is good but Miami has the best ones. This one place (which I've been to and can confirm is fucking amazing) has a 4.9 star rating from 26k votes!

Didn't think that was possible

East Portland or West Portland?

East had great American cuisine with the seafood dishes. Never been to West Portland.

Chicken Fried Steak , Mashed Potatoes , Salad w / Ranch

Algerian food ahead of Thai - GTFO lol.
