Hey everyone, I was just curious what people thought was next for Mendes or if he is planning to lay low for a longer period of time? He took two hard losses in a row, But would love to see him back out there, especially getting a win. Thoughts?

Hopefully the winner of Barao/Stephens

Retire on the $500,000 he got paid for the short notice fight that ruined his career.

He can only hope someone with pillowfists, don't know if he can handle getting KTFO again.

Leave team alpha male. Diversify his striking and work on his bjj. He's a great wrestler and hits hard but he is predictable for the top 3 guys at fw, and he just lost 3 in a row to those guys. No shame in losing to those three but he needs a win and to change his game up a little to hit the top of the division.

Hopefully not someone too low down on the totem pole. 2 rough back to back losses but he did batter a top 5 FW with ease and gave the previous FW champ arguably his toughest fight before that.

Completely Agree! Although Someone mentioned taking the winner of Barao/Stephens. I really like this idea and his odds. Hope he gets the much needed win soon. I personally don't think he is FW championship material - But great talent. Would love to see improvements to his game and a comeback.

Hopefully retirement along with the entirety of TAM.

As far as I'm concerned he got ppv cuts for that so around 2.5m.

Anyways 135 or a back on track fight..if he wants back in with the top of the heap...cub swanson.

Me neither. Then again, I didn't see Lawler or RDA being champs years ago so who knows?

I think winning a fight would be a really good idea.

You don't want to lose three in a row in the UFC.
