Whats next for Adesanya?

Fresh matches would be cool. Not sure if he has any new tricks for Strickland at this stage. Although I could see him stealing a win back from DDP, he's obviously in no position to have that rematch. He could still make a killer gatekeeper.

@Question I think he'll seek Imavov.

On paper the easiest match up for him of the top guys primarily a striker, already a known that imavov can't beat Strickland. Obvious the UFC wants to push the Frenchmen, an Imavov win over adesanya is a good thing for the UFC. A signature win for their hopeful french talent. An Izzy win could lead to the UFC Africa thing with a rematch of dricus and Izzy. Another win for the UFC.

So Izzy Vs Imavov in Sydney is my guess.

If what you're suggesting is true and he needs 2 wins he'll fight Brendan Allen first.
Sorry for the late reply, I didn't get a notification for this

Imavov is one of the highest ranked fights I'd favor Izzy in by a decent amount
Honestly for whether he needs one or two wins, it's weird because he's a two fight skid and got finished in one and handily beat in the other. It would be odd to throw him back in the title mix with one win, however middleweight is pretty thin and depending on how he would win his comeback bout I could see him being propelled back into contention just off of one victory

I'd aim for the Sydney card as well, make it a very solid co-main fight against either Imavov or Caio
Altho if Izzy needs a tune up, like a fight to get some confidence back with an opponent that's a bit easier you could bring in a Hermansson or Dolidze type. The downside about it is there's more pressure on Izzy since it would be him fighting lower down the ranks and winning. Also while it would be impressive it wouldn't be against a top five opponent so the chances of getting a shot of that would be low I'm guessing

No need to apologize, all your posts are great

Hermanson or dozlidze? too much of grapplers for izzy to take I think. I think the winner of fluffy vs micheal pereira would be more likely if he were to go the rung lower on the ladder.

Izzy vs other Pereira could be fun

Love Fluffy, but I think Pereira beats him up this weekend and to be honest that would be kinda better since his activity is insane lately
Pereira would be a great fight for Izzy and happen within the next few months

Fluffy winning would be a good choice too, but he isn't quite active so chances are we wouldn't see that for a bit

That is the fight he should push for. It's the best match up for him that is still relevant in the title picture.

Of course this is a great fight Izzy gets to say he's 2-3 against Pereira if he wins

Imavov I guess.. at least that is the fight that I want.
It would be very good technical striking. And Izzy looked good vs DDP.. he was just the lesser man

If not Imavov.. feed him to Strickland again

why-are-these-two-beefing-its-all-i-see-on-the-news-lately-v0-63x0o6gbsktd1.jpeg

I would like to see Izzy vs Khamzat if he can’t get by Rob.

That would be a great co main

Imagine if Sean beats DDP and Izzy gets a 4th title shot, while being 0-2 and 44-50 against Sean.
