I have a feeling it may have been a security issue or something like this. Imagine someone starts a fight or does something incredibly stupid and then you can't ID him/her because of the mask.

I also have to say Werdum did himself absolutely no favors last night. I was with a bunch of friends including one fan of Werdum. By the time he made it to the ring and the fight was about to begin everyone wanted Werdum to get his ass knocked out. I have never watched a fight with friends and seen such a change in atmosphere towards one fighter within 5 minutes. His stupid ass troll face was so fucking annoying that we were all going nuts for Stipe by the time the fight started. Maybe it was just us/me but it really idiotic and I got to think he will be embarrased for himself when looking back at his entrance antics.
