Is it just me or do the latest photos of the Smashing Pumpkins look kinda weird?

Three old white dudes adopted an Asian kid.

A cool band. Good photos.

A long time back I heard Billy demanded to play every instrument on the album, and wrote every part. That people had left the band because it was all him.

Corgan and the drummer Chamberlain are like 95% of the sound of the band. Iha has his moments but when it comes to writing songs...

This is an Iha song:

And this is a Corgan song:

There's levels to song craftsmanship and in his prime Corgan was just on a different level than most of his peers so I don't begrudge him for being a control freak in the studio. Could he have handled it better on a personal level? Probably. Most great artists have failings when it comes to that kind of thing.

What Happened to the chick in the band?
She’s had a really rough go of it the last decade or so. Addiction issues and such. She looked horrible. She had discussion with Billy about joining for them for the reunion but he still had concerns that she couldn’t go back on the road again and she also was having some health issues and he wasn’t sure if she could physically play the set. Her and Billy didn’t speak for years and I think she’s still pretty pissed about missing out on the reunion money but they’re at least somewhat on good terms now

Other than that shitty hat Billy Corgan has on looks like your typical band photo op.

i consider em a good band despite their last good album being from 1995
