Whatever happened to Jack Slack?

I think Sherdog stopped letting him post his analysis on the forum, since he would post a paragraph and then link the rest of the article.

He's around, I forget who he's writing for now. It was Fightland for a minutes, but I stopped following him. Couldn't keep up with his articles, and I think I stopped caring for some of the topics he chose to write on. His analysis was fine, overall.
 
I liked his writing; he definitely wasn't clueless. And I learned a lot about striking set-ups from reading his articles.

I don't know if he's still writing articles, I thought he only did a podcast now. Which is not very good, to be frank. He's a much better writer than speaker.

His breakdown of Cyborg vs Holm completely missed the mark. Certain parts turned out to be down right silly.

The thing about predictions isn't that they turn out to be correct. They can turn out to be outright wrong and still be "good" predictions. It's the logic and thought that goes behind them that counts. No one can predict what will actually happen in a fight because there are too many unknown variables.

What Jack Slack said will always be better than the usual "Cyborg has better striking and grappling. Holly gets dominated" response.

His writing style is overrated and follows a specific formula, specifically word painting.

Instead of saying: Conor slipped the Jab and landed a counter right hand

It is: Conors masterful fluidity and movement calculation allows him to time and evade the lead hand of his opponent. In this split second, the neurons fire signals from his brain, and a mixture of reflexes and training comes in allowing him to fire the counter punch perfect for situation.
