What would WWE look like if MMA was introduced in the 70s and 80s?

Pro wrestling wouldn't be any different. We've seen through the decades how in pro wrestling personalities, characters and stories are more important to people than what happens in the ring. MMA isn't that different and if it were a sport 10 or 20 years earlier in North America it would mimic pro wrestling even more than it already does.

I think WWE would look the same. It’s a different product. WWE is athletic theater while mma is an actual athletic competition. People are attracted one or both for different reasons.
