What were FOX news like when Obama was in charge?

I'm a new outsider looking in and have been caught up in the whole CNN and FOX news blatant bias.

My question is, when Obama was in charge did FOX behave in the same way as CNN is doing now? Did they just focus on the negatives, provide biased reporting and even choose language that would discredit Obama's efforts?

Were they more rational? Worse?

How would you compare it to what CNN is like now as the opposition media?

Not meaning to fan the flames here, just curious as I hadn't experienced it.

FOX was always somewhat less fawning of Obama, but they never behaved in the manner of CNN or MSNBC. I know because I have always watched all of the news outlets and cross-referenced their reports. FOX was at its worst during the early George W. Bush years, as it tended to overlook anything Bush did (similar to CNN's treatment of Obama). But the MSM's full-on meltdown over Trump is unprecedented in modern times IMO.

I don't watch fox that much, but when Obama was president I NEVER agreed with what somebody like Hannity was saying. It was nothing.. He's correct sometimes now, and so is fox news. My father has voted Democrat since the early 1960s, and did not vote for Trump. He doesn't like Trump as president, which is understandable because he is an intellectual type. Even HE IS forced to watch fox news sometimes now to get away from the witch-hunt.

There is no equivalent of someone like Sean Hannity on MSNBC or CNN. It just simply does not exist. Hannity is Tokyo Rose levels of propaganda.

PBS Newshour is fine. It's just one hour a day where they go over the day's biggest stories calmly and clearly. No 24 hour news cycle to fill up with bullshit, and different funding methods.
