Damn dude ! I thought One Battle After Another was a horrendous movie. The only thing I saw was the trailer before watching the movie and was shocked at how misleading the trailer was

The reviews make me not want to see Tron arse

Jurassic park movie mentioned above is pretty arse too

None have got near the original
Tron was a fun movie and an awesome soundtrack. If you see it expecting to be entertained and not to be seeing a Criterion collection film classic you might be pleasantly surprised. Not ground breaking by any means but I enjoyed it and Trent Reznor did a good job with the music.

even if this were true (it’s not, obviously), it’d be significantly less pathetic than being a sad middle-aged weirdo who has grown so starved for human interaction you haunt the internet quibbling over movies & shows you legit haven’t even seen. so, as if these sad-man olympics weren’t already sad enough, since you apparently lack the bandwidth to formulate & express your own opinions by actually watching the things you’re crusading against, you are stuck relying on secondhand criticisms just so you can make your desperate appeals to the lowest common denominator
Yea you seem totally normal

Haven't seen one day after the other which is the only movie I could see beating The Long Walk for me. Weapons was close though.

F1 edged out the others, not a perfect movie but the most enjoyable and memorable movie for me this year.

Honorable mention to Frankenstein, The Long Walk and Dangerous Animals (I don't think many saw this one)

"The only possible way someone can arrive at a different opinion to me on the thing I watched/played/listen to is if they didnt even consume it" - standard lame patter from him and a few others who share his extreme political bent

Oh wow, I've seen none of those and dont feel like I'm missing out
Watched The Running Man "remake" yesterday

Quite disappointing

Starts off well but the bit where Michael Cera is doing his home alone skit is particularly embarrassing

Once he meets the girl in the car its pretty terrible by this point too

Looks like I need to finally see Weapons. I really wanted to vote Predator but ultimately it was a disappointment. Pretty cool visually but all the lame ass jokes and slapstick pg13 garbage killed it for me. I want a rated R predator dammit. I went with Sinners, really enjoyed that one.

One Battle After Another, easily. I had a good time with Ballerina and F1. Superman was awful and Jurassic World was... just stupid. 2025 was quite weak for cinema.

Sinners isnt a terrible movie

But its a bit of a sad indictment of the state of hollywood that it's a strong contender for film of the year.

Its probably like a 6/10 or so. Its a rip off from Dusk til Dawn basically so not original. I'm not sure the Michael b jordan playing 2 characters thing works as well as it has in other movies either.

The fact that people are even mentioning sinners, ballerina, f4, thunderbolts etc as film of the year really shows what a crap year it was for movies

Not the OPs fault, but are any of the movies in his list above average? Admittedly havent seem weapons but public opinion appears mixed

"Weapons" is definitely among the better ones this year. Has been an overall meh movie year. Also average, but surprised me: Predator: Killer of Killers.

Thanks for your opinion but I loved it.
