What was the reaction when Rampage beat a K1 Kickboxer in Kickboxing!

Kawajiri was one of my favorites.also kid Yamamoto had some good kickbocing wins and an absolute war with zambidis before getting koed.
Man...Kid 😔

Pre-knee injury Kid looked well on his way to being a GOAT candidate. One of the most dynamic fighters of that era, seemed like he was just a superior athlete to everyone he was matched against. Part of me wonders whether he had cancer for a long time before it took him, and they just never caught it. Whatever the case, the UFC fans never got to see him at his best. Of all of the fighters I've enjoyed, idk that I ever wanted things to go more differently for a fighter than I did for him. That injury really robbed us.

it was a big deal that he beat Abidi. it was also a big deal Mousasi beat Musashi. but i don't think either of those wins were as big of a deal as Overeem absolutely mollywhopping the fuck out of Badr Hari. reason is, back then Abidi and especially Musashi were more journeyman than anything, although Abidi was a bit better at the time. however, Badr Hari was a fucking monster in K-1 and Overeem was thought of as just a chinny MMA guy. that was until Overeem put an absolute clinic on setting traps vs Badr and Hari bit on every single bait HARD and got completely destroyed by Overeem without even touching Overeem. it was a master class performance by Overeem on one of the best kickboxers in the world.

Same bro such a sad story.he should have been fighting at 125-135 his whole career.dude was mauling 155ers.so much speed and power. He was ahead of his time

The hardy stuff was insane. There was a time where he was viewed as one of the best edge rushers in the nfl. I don't think everyone understands the athletic difference between that and frank

1000% this. when i made jokes about a fat bar slob like Tai Tuivasa wrecking a top athlete in Greg Hardy i heard so many excuses of Hardy "not being that good" even though like you said he was a top edge rusher, pro bowler, and the biggest reason he got the boot from the NFL wasn't because of his lack of output but because of his out of game antics.

Reems main issue is that his defense is insanely one note. Hes like Chito where all he does is shell. Badr learned to just time Reem letting his high guard loose to drill him. This carried on into MMA too for Reem.

Quick and effortless lol, truly shocked the world. Reem on gear is definitely a standout combat fighter of all time

So ciryl beating a can crusher boxer is an accomplishment?

K1 was overrated as fuck …..see fighters with kickboxing backgrounds all the time that aren’t great strikers
I hope your plane crashes. K1 were the best strikers on planet earth. Better than anyone ever in humanity. Better than all boxers ever, stronger than small muay thai guys.

If you say K1 was overrated one more time I will send a meteor on your house.

Yeah Badr was the man. Those other two guys werent never near the best in K-1

Honestly the idiots in here that hate K-1 just dismiss it cos they arent familiar with it, and mentally are giving themselves reasons not to check it out.

IMAGINE missing out on decades worth of incredible fights and tournament drama because of laziness and self imposed ignorance. Same with TUF gnubs and PRIDEFC.

it's wild too because at least in old K-1 it was like a 90% KO rate. it's almost a lock that somebody is going to get ktfo

Of course. You have all the best fighters, fighting each other like 25 times in their careers.

Sometimes all meeting where they all gotta fight 3 times in one night if they wanna win it all.

Its insane really, compared to boxing and MMA.

Nobody is undefeated in those kind of conditions.

Rampage.. Extremely overrated
Slow, stiff, no cardio, no wrestling, no 1 punch KO

Rampage in his prime wouldnt be a top 10 LHW,
sorry nostalgia people
Bro how deep in your ass did you pull out this NONSENSE.
