The vision someone had to hire this lady is impressive. Her androgenous shriek was such a perfect match for that production.

Beautiful Day

God Moving Over the Face of the Waters

only the real ones remember those highlights.

i remember watching this highlight atleast a million times. my favorite fighter Ice Cold Igor Vovchanchyn.

Loved Igor’s Goodridge bouts, especially the one where Goodridge looked like he was on ice after a punch.

Seeing fights/fighters not wearing reebok apparel. Those tapout, dethrone, badboy, venum, etc. shorts bring back nostalgia

Tapout and affliction shirts with bedazzled boot cut jeans. Nothing like watching the UFC at a big rowdy bar and then going clubbing after. Ohhh yeahhhhh!

Goldie saying "And here we go!", Goldie reading out the names of the producers at the end credits. Face the pain.

Ah, Goldie.

I totally remember that classic reel! Ice Cold - what a legend.

goldberg's voice. (seriously)

i can't say i miss the guy's commentary, but his voice does bring back good memories. those were the golden days.

1993 was an amazing year in my youth. Phillies in the world series; John Kruk, Mitch Williams, Darren Dalton, Lenny Dykstra and the rest - one of the most exciting summers I can remember.
as a mets fan, it bothers the hell out of me whenever i see the words 'phillies' and 'dykstra' in the same sentence. just doesn't look right.

Lost to the Blue Jays that year! Not that I was old enough to remember. Baseball-wise, wouldn't '08 be a more memorable year for you?

Fuckn joe carter :(

I'd say '08 was equally memorable, but it doesn't do anything for me in regard to MMA nostalgia. I was a kid in '93 and a baseball fanatic and the Phillies were bad for as long as I could remember at that point in time. Sports fandom is different when you're a kid. It was great when they won in '08 though.

Understandable. Considering what an awful person he turned out to be, I also like to consider him a Met ;)

I was just driving and Hendos music came on shuffle. Made in America by Toby Keith.

I let the song play and it instantly took me back to 204.

I remember Hendo walking out to it and it took me back to hearing it live and the memory of me watching it thinking "fuck man, this is Hendos last fight".

This just one song for example but a glimpse of MMA transferring into everyday life.

Is there a certain saying, song, action that you hear in everyday life that takes you back to a certain MMA memory?

(apologies if this thread makes no sense and ive explained it poorly in advance, hope someone gets what im saying) .

Hearing the PRIDE theme song

Ken Shamrock, Severn, Frye, Royce Gracie, Tank
