I was just driving and Hendos music came on shuffle. Made in America by Toby Keith.

I let the song play and it instantly took me back to 204.

I remember Hendo walking out to it and it took me back to hearing it live and the memory of me watching it thinking "fuck man, this is Hendos last fight".

This just one song for example but a glimpse of MMA transferring into everyday life.

Is there a certain saying, song, action that you hear in everyday life that takes you back to a certain MMA memory?

(apologies if this thread makes no sense and ive explained it poorly in advance, hope someone gets what im saying) .

Am I crazy or didn't / doesn't Hendo come out to this?

Yeah he did, I think he used the Toby Keith later on though, the Toby Keith song just reminds me of Old Man Hendo though. Hed definitely used it for a good few of his last fights, not sure when he switched them.

When Pride lady screams into your ear.... you know it's Fedor's/Sakuraba/Wand, Shogun....(fill in the blanks) time! That's what I call MMA nostalgia!

1993 was an amazing year in my youth. Phillies in the world series; John Kruk, Mitch Williams, Darren Dalton, Lenny Dykstra and the rest - one of the most exciting summers I can remember. Now every time I watch a Phillies game I think of those guys and that year, and Royce Gracie blowing my mind making bigger dudes give up.

OK I actually have an answer to your question.

I have a puppy ("pandemic puppy"). When she wants more cuddling, she puts her head down at 45 degrees and kinda rolls forward / flips over. I call it her "Imanari Roll".

And then my wife rolls her eyes
You're good, but watch out if you see her throwing any sand.

Hendricks and 50 Dollars and a Flask of Crown. You can immediately tell its him
