What to do on the weekend? (Besides party)

What's up bros. So I think I have a problem, I've been going out every weekend (bar/club/event).
Was just in Vegas last weekend and told myself I'd chill out for a while but now that the weekend is here, I'm seeing my friends going out (FYF), and I'm getting a bad case of FOMO.

It's pretty hard for me to resist buying a ticket for $200 and partying another weekend.

What do you guys do on the weekend nights besides going out to bars/clubs/parties etc?
Do what I do train.

23, and I like working out and training or just anything generally active.

Also I live by LA

I'm a bit of a different example because I have never drank in my life, so going to bars and partying never interested me. I would go very sporadically, but would find myself going home at about the time people were just arriving.

Where I eventually enjoyed going out in this environment was when my friends began to outgrow the bars and instead favored pubs. We could all hang out with a bunch of tables pushed together, watch sports on TV, shoot pool, play darts, and at the time the first 'Golden Tee' and 'Buck Hunter' games were just coming out. There was also a foosball table at our local pub as well for a while. These were fun evenings with friends as it pertained to an environment of drinking and 'going out'.

In regards to alternatives, when I was in my 20's I did more activity during the day and stayed home at night as noted. I was never a late night person which probably coincided with not drinking, so I was ok with relaxing at home albeit with friends, a girlfriend, or alone. I got more value out of having active days and just relaxing in the evenings.

I could offer ideas of things to do over the weekend, but they're more in tune towards daytime activity. I'm not sure it would be the productive answer you're after as it sounds more like you're after filling in your night life. I'm afraid in that capacity I can't help you out.

The other fellow made a good point in that you'll eventually grow out of the desire for the night life. You're still quite young, and being in that you need to be 21 where you reside it's still a novelty for you to be out. As such, if you feel you can't resist going out to party, then don't fight the urge. Go out and enjoy yourself. Eventually the novelty will wear off. Part of going out is also learning your threshold for the entire experience. You don't always need to get drunk, you don't always need to over spend. Find the happy medium that works for you, and go enjoy being a 23 year old.

Probably not the best reply, but so be it.
All the best my friend.

Develop the patience to spell words out and stop using acronyms.

And then, Boise dimes.

Weekend evenings are a great time to get into the office and really get some work done without anyone bothering you, just like weekday evenings, weekend afternoons, and weekend mornings.

Read a book or go outside. Depending on where you are, it is usually pretty easy to find a 2-4 mile long trail you can walk. I wouldn't even call most of them hiking, because they're so leisurely.

It's good for you and you might even like it

Do you like doing shit outdoors? Fishing, shooting, mountain biking, hiking, sports, offroading, river tubing, camping, etc?

I like going out to bars and shit as well(however more like 1 maybe 2 times a month) but really what will you be missing out on? I have fun while I'm out but I never really feel like I'm missing out on anything when I don't go out.

Start a book club and when your friends come tell them to bring alchohol, drugs, hookers to make book discussion more interesting. Make sure you play loud music too.

Hipsters do this. No hookers though. Lots of mutual masturbation.

Lately I've been just trying to catch up on sleep and get a workout in. It's been a tad chaotic with the baby the past few weeks. Hats of to the folks who have multiple kids.
