Ilia vs Paddy is what I want to see not sure if the UFC wants to push Paddy there yet. I'm fine but not excited about JG vs Ilia... I have no interest in Ilia vs Islam ... Islam would absolutely maul him at 170 Ilia is tiny in comparison... Arman should be fighting Ilia for the belt he is the rightful contender and the best LW in the division most likely and doesn't have Charles chin issue.

If the gloves are off and they're genuinely not bothering with the US element (which would be super weird, but whatever), then yeah.

They could put on an absolutely gargantuan card.

I'm really not sure it will do all that much for the UFC long term, but it'd be pretty cool. It's odd to have a Caesar that actually wants that shit in his backyard, but they should strike while the iron is hot.

How about send him back to FW to get a few defences so he can retroactively EARN his LW title fight? When you have as many divisional titles as defenses that's bad. But Toppy has more FFS. Ilia's stock dropped which is not a big deal as he is still really good BUT now he has to just fight. I am very surprised he thought he could dictate the outcome when all these other people are also involved and just as talented. Even his buddy Merrab fought everybody for years before they gave him a shot, weird stuff.
