What really caused the cut on Stricklands eye and the elbow that made it worse.

Yeah, video evidence is not enough these days to be convincing. There is a large contingent that believes there was nothing wrong with what the police did to George Floyd in that video. When they have that strong of a cognitive bias toward desired beliefs, they will rationalize absolutely everything toward this narrative no matter how powerful the evidence against it. Amazing.
 
Tell me where the blood starts dripping.

Look at the video. There isn’t any blood dripping until after the head butt.

This is a really bad welt.

Can you post a picture of blood actually dripping down Strickland's face that would show it's actually something more than a bad welt before the head butt happens?

If you can't do that I might have to ask you to stop quoting me. Because it's going to signify to me that you're more interested in trolling than having an actual discussion about the facts at hand.

I'm ok with idle repartee but engaging with people that intentionally waste other people's time is another thing altogether.

This has to be a bit or something, you can clearly see in the video after the overhand right the blood around his eye increases with time before any other shot lands and increases a lot more after the elbow.

There is a video showing it. Watch it. A picture can't show blood dripping, only video can. Pictures can't show movement dumbass. The image you showed isn't good enough quality to say it's not blood, it's red pooling near his eye.

Yeah, this kills another narrative about this fight. It’s very obvious to see what’s happening. Strickland fans are just upset and coming up with every excuse in the book. It was a close fight, a coin flip. He came up short this time. Move on.

Blood outside of your body already means that it's dripping, my guy. It's supposed to stay inside of you.

But more to the point, I think what you're saying is even better evidence it was he punch and not the 'headbutt.' ANYONE who has watched fights enough knows that cuts  form and bleeding develops. You don't spontaneously get a crimson mask at the time of impact. Usually blood appears in bulk not from the strike itself, but from a smear on the already cut area from a prior strike.

If I  didn't know about the punch and I saw the video of the light collision and instantly blood covered face and had someone tell me that's what caused it, I'd still be questioning why someone would think that.
 
i thought it was obvious that the right hook cut him. when it happened live you could see the cut immediately after DDP punched Sean because better resolution. i'm pretty sure he got right hooked again then elbowed before getting headbutted. i thought people were bitching about it because of post fight copium that usually happens when a controversial fighter loses/wins. i didn't know they actually believed it.
