Food & Drink What random item do you miss from any restaurant?

Random item? Heck, bring back the old pizza hut.

Holy throwback pic. I remember that setup and those huge red plastic soda cups.

I'm older and health conscious now so there is nothing I would actually eat but....The McRib back in the day hit the spot. I also would have the BBQ Bullseye Burger from Burger King.

Those mini jukeboxes at diners.

Back in the 90s, the newest songs in them were from the mid-80s 🤣
I recently thought of Johnny Rockets

It's not a totally dead franchise but it used to be all over the southeast and now it's more limited. Best vanilla shake you'll ever have and some of my favorite fries. They had that same mini jukebox to go with the 50's diner aesthetic

Pizza Hut lunch Buffet and Wendy's super bar were awesome

+1

I would walk across the parking lot to eat lunch at Pizza Hut when I was in HS. Breadsticks were $1 and pretty much the same as the personal size cheese pizza (cost $2) but without cheese.

And of course you had to get a drink in the big ass red tumbler

Buffalo Wild Wings had a shrimp po boy sandwich that was good. They got rid of it, only thing I ever got from there. Never went back

Corn Fritters from Cheesecake Factory. Things were like crack.

McDonald's had a large sized Big Mac 10yrs ago or so that used 2 quarter lb patties. Something about the proportions change put it over the top. Lucky they didn't continue it or I wouldn't be 6'5" 240 of lean mass by now.

McDonald's grilled onion cheddar burger it was tasty and I could buy 2 for 2 bucks.

chili from wendy's with the hot sauce packets. id get it when i was a kid and liked drinking the sauce out of the packets. havent had it in more than 23 years.

donairs, donair pizza.

being vegetarian opens up a lot of options for this thread tbh lol.
You don't eat meat?

This place used to serve some of the best chicken strips I have ever eaten as a kid and I miss it.

There was a little restaurant on the St. Croix in Wisconsin that made a Thai burger...
Seasoned burger patty
Pickled carrot/diacon
Roasted jalapeño
Cucumber
Cilantro
Onions
Spicy peanut sauce
On a black sesame bun
