What movies have not aged well?

I'd say The Dark Knight, besides Heath Ledger performance the movie is really forgettable.

I stated why above. Some characters motivations make no sense (De Niro's love interest). And the much hyped scene between De Niro and Pacino is a bunch of cringey tough guy talk that sounds like it was improvised on the spot.

Hahaha.

We need more movies like Heat in today's era of trash. Heat is classic.

underrated comment

Just to put things into perspective...

Hearthrob hunk QB prom king openly gives away his blackout drunk cheerleader prom queen gf to a nerd so he can rape her after a party...View attachment 699265

View attachment 699267 ...They wake up together, she is clueless, the nerd admits to raping her, and she is totally OK with it

My buddy was looking to buy a place in Manhattan a few years ago and the agent that showed him the place was that actress.

No joke.

Terminator watched it a few weeks ago........ dsmn the special effects look cheezy
the scene where arnold cuts open his eye looks really bad, but the terminator effects when the skin is burned away and its moving around still looked good imo

It's a good movie it just hasn't aged well. Still better than most. Just has a very 90's feel too it. Dated doesn't automatically mean bad imo.

Any movie that relied on now-dated technology to entertain, rather than compelling storytelling, will always look absurd 10 years later... save for the Large Marge claymation scene in Pee Wees Big Adventure. That fucker still totally holds up...

The correct answer of course is War Games

Oh, and Hackers

If that dude thinks the purpose of the scene with Pacino and DeNiro having coffee was “a bunch of tough guy talk” or was in any way supposed to drive home how tough they both are, he has serious issues with comprehension.
