What movie genres do you dislike or have no interest in?

Horror. Never really got into it. I'm a pansy when it comes to that kind of stuff. I hate haunted houses and shit too. Too stressful for me to subject myself to it willingly.

he was dating in 1978 assuming he was a teen that means he was born in the early 60's making him almost 60

and the original Carrie came out in 1976.

Don't I wish I was "almost" 60. 60 is a long way back in the rear view mirror.

Horror/scary movies.. They are not scary and most of the time kliche filled dogshit.

Oh these too. I get so pissed when people randomly start singing lol. Miss me with that shit

<DisgustingHHH>

Man, next time I get in an argument with a woman, I should just start making up lines and break into song...

They can stare at me blankly while I'm all...

"The toilet seat goes up and down with the laws of gravity
If you don't look then you will drown and sink below the toilet sea
It's not that hard to cast your gaze a downward view before you sit
And if perchance you should fall in, I've set aside a lifejacket...."

* pirouette and jazz hands

And I'll be like... Yeah that's what I don't watch that shit.

Horror, not like suspense or Halloween style movies, but real gore type of films

Musicals generally but there are a few I do actually like.

I typically don't like franchises either but there are some exceptions there too.

THE GODFATHER, GODFATHER 2, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, CASINO & all the rest just bore me to tears.

You admit yourself you never watched the Godfathers, how can you say they bore you? You are not qualified to even discuss them until you've seen them.

The Godfather is a master class in suspense and violence film making. The scene where Michael goes to the hospital to move his father is one of the great suspense scenes of all time. The movie producer waking up with a horses head in his bed is one of the most shocking scenes of gore ever. It still shocks on repeated viewing because it is so well staged.

You really should watch these movies before commenting on them.

I dont like Horror movies Rom Coms or Super Hero movies. Theres exceptions here and there

I have a hard time getting into the fantasy sword and realm type things. It’s just a block for me for some reason. Couldn’t get into GoT

You watch wrestling and like ghost ..... surely you can get into some nerd shit

I haven't seen a movie in like 8 years. All the movies that came out in the last 8 years or so..

I don't watch TV anymore

I don't have the attention span to sit through a movie nowadays really. I have tried. Something in me changed and I don't know what...

The only movies I can watch are ones I've already seen.. Classics... And even then, I can't watch them all the way thru

I'm mostly into podcast type stuff nowadays.. Conspiracy theories.. Biblical stuff regarding end times... Science and technology...

I can listen to guys on YouTube like Steve Quayle or Anthony Patch rant about shit for hours... Even Eddie Bravo.. I like to listen to stuff regarding CERN, Antarctica, Nephillim, Aliens, Fallen Angels, transhumanism, AI takeover, WW3, Flat Earth, giants, Vatican secrets, quantum computers, etc..

And I'm not saying I believe everything I hear. It's just fascinating because it could be true..

I mostly read the internet and have a little window open that plays YouTube videos..
@SIRGAY HARITONOB! ?

But, I'm not discussing them in detail. I'm just stating that from what I've seen of them ( I have seen the first half of THE GODFATHER as well as all of GOODFELLAS, CASINO & DONNIE BRASCO ) that particular genre simply fails to hold my interest. Basically, I don't find the characters in them intriguing at all.
I recognize that they're classic films & I'm not putting them down whatsoever. Nor am I criticizing those who enjoy them. I realize that I'm in the minority for not liking them but it is what it is. They're just not my type of movies.
Peace.

Star Wars and super heroes, if those are even nerd things anymore. Something about fantasy type shows/movies with kings, queens and dragons doesn't work for me, brother

You don't know what you're talking about.

I disagree. I know exactly what I'm talking about. I know what movies I enjoy & what movies I don't enjoy. And those movies fall into the latter category. It's a matter of personal taste. My not liking what appear to be some of your favorite films isn't an indictment against you. It just means that we have different tastes in movies. It's no big deal.

They arent my favorite films. You should watch them before you talk about them.

The exact same for me, I’ve seen them all. Don’t enjoy them and don’t watch that type of movie generally.

I’ve had to sit throught them with other people etc.

Horror, romance, musicals, mob (got bored of these), cartoons.
Probably an exception here and there for each.
