What makes Kahbib not boring but GSP is considered boring?

GSP was more about pure control and playing it safe, Khabib takes pleasure in beating you up.

I don't think Khabib is that exciting of a fighter either. Very dominant, does more damage than GSP but is also a poor finisher.

What makes classical music boring but jazz entertaining?

The answer: it depends upon who you ask, boring is subjective. Some people find classical music boring and jazz entertaining, others find classical entertaining and jazz boring, some find both entertaining, and some find both boring.

Thinking there's anything like consensus between people on what is boring and what is entertaining is extremely naive. You can go through books, movies, sports, music and always find the same thing: people disagree on what is boring and what is entertaining.

GSP had more weapons but refused to take risks. Khabib does his best with his one weapon. GSP showed us he could win and be exciting in his path to the title, destroying solid fighters like Trigg, Sherk and more at their own game. So we expected him to absolutely maul 1 dimensional guys like Dan Hardy or Alvez to easily destroy Shields standing but instead we got some boringass shit.

Certainly but I think the old idea that safe decision fighting is some kind of "nuanced" or superior skill has always been flawed, the reality is more aggressive fighting is more demanding of skill if you want to stay undefeated.
