What knife did you carry today?

I know it's been a while since I posted, but here I recently went to the Atlanta blade show and picked up a few knives. I met some really good folks there as well.

Clockwise from the 12
Tarani 5.11 tactical fixed
Krudo Snag live
Tarani 5.11 tactical folder
Filo Halcon military special edition (my new favorite toy)
Krudo Snag trainer

Garmin Fenix 2

How are you liking the fenix 2?

It's a pretty badass GPS watch. I've had it for a month now and have barely scratched the surface with all that it does. I use it with the HRM. Especially when I go on long runs. The stats that it records are amazing. Living in Georgia it's good to be able to gauge your runs based on elevation and declination.

I was really hoping you buy that Strider then give it to me.

Yesterday my La Griffe arrived, today I got my Strider MFS. I will test the MFS on a Croatian Island next week. Finally it's vacation-time!

What is it?

Sacha Thiel Officer. Customer knife maker from France. This is not a custom though, its a mid tech. Essentially, he contracts the making of the parts out, and assembles/fits the knife himself.

Are those TuffThumbz scales?

nah, its and option that Sacha gives when ordering the knife. Wouldn't have been my first choice honestly. I would have chosen carbon fiber with a red backspacer, but I didn't buy it directly from him. Shipped directly from him they come to about 340, I got it nearly new off USN for 245

My MFS in action. Smokey the Bear would be proud, I just could not leave my trash on the trail!

I've been waiting on this one for a long time. Kershaw Cryo G10. Lighter, grippier, and better looking than the original (which I still love).

Yeah I don't need this been and it seem SO unpractical but for someone reason I want this SOOO Bad and gonna order it soon I think

Has anyone used the Emerson designed Kershaw CQC-6K?

I'm thinking of picking it up since it's just $33 and the wave feature seems cool.

Steel: 8Cr13MoV, stonewashed and satin finish; Handle: Black textured G-10 front, 410 bead-blasted finish back
Blade length: 3.25 Inch (8.3 cm); Closed length: 4.5 Inch (11.4 cm)

I'm not a fan of the wave feature, but I've handled the knife it feels really good. I love Kershaw though, so I'm
admittedly biased.
