What kind of shin guards to get: traditional, lightweight, very light?

update:
got XL size Windy's
it's about the same size as the Fairtex Large
The straps finally close all the way around and the bottom strap overhangs lots which I have to fix

the windys stay tight on the shin since they have no extra cushioning

When ordering Windy products you should go up a size as they run small. The Fairtex are made with "western" size standards.

Go for Fairtex SP3s or Twins SGL-3. They are light weight, durable and offer adequate protection.

Hey i just looked at your website and it says that this twins brand has hook and loop strapping ???

Is that right ? I don't think i have ever seen twins with that ??
