What is your single most unpopular MMA opinion?

Well, sure i'd rather seen that too, but.. at the same time, Nog being beat by anyone other than Fedor is Global news. Stop the fuckin PRESS HOLY SHIT

Esp since Josh actually HAD Nog in a full on kneebar at the bell.

Even Fedor didnt threaten nog with a sub like that. Barnett also dropped him. Might be the first guy to drop Nog with a punch like that.
It was a great fight. Glad they rematches which was another great fight.

I just wanted to see CC Nog 2 both still in or near prime

That casual 'UFC fans' are the worst and best thing for the sport and it's fighters. They bring dog shit opinions and viewpoints, typically know jack shit, and flip on fighters in a heartbeat. Yet, they also bring eyes, attention, and actually spend money on the sport. While annoying dipshits, they are a necessary evil, as the hardcore fan is jaded, and more than likely broke or prefers to spend their money elsewhere as they're probably older.

I do not see this as controversial at all. Some MMA fans make NASCAR fans look like Nobel Prize winners.

Trying to compare fighters of different eras is dumb and so are P4P rankings.

Honestly accurate. None of my close friends are MMA fans. MMA fandom is a solo activity for me and that's why I'm here. I'd have nobody to talk MMA with if it wasn't for this place.

Potentially the best fighter in the world is not competing in mma. He's probably wresting in the Olympics, or most likely earning way more as a boxer

Usyk in a parallel universe takes up mma at a young age, how does he do? Probably goat
Different class of mental strength and stamina/skill

Hey, the best fighter Potentially is likely an nfl player or playing football/soccer.
Lol! Only someone really dumb would believe in that. There is no potentially anything, and MMA is more popular today than wrestling

Just because someone is good at boxing it's doens't mean he would be good at MMA. Usyk could start in MMA at 18 years old and still be trash

Lol! What being good at run fast holding a ball have to with being good at fighting?

There is no such a thing as someone potentially good at fighting lol! People arent born with a gene that could make them good at MMA or any other sport

A clinical moron doesn't think usyk is a fighter at heart. The dude does lengthier training camps than any fighter. He trains like no one else, maybe a prime floyd

You honestly no fuck all about Usyk, if you don't think he would have been an effective mma fighter. You realise he cross trains for one and did some grappling prior starting boxing?

He only started boxing in his teens and look at what he achieved. Of course we will never know for sure because he decided to compete in a sport which will earn him WAY more money

You are right about athletes not being fighters, but Usyk? He's a fighter with the heart of a lion

I recently saw a fight with 12-6 elbows from full mount and fighter on bottom almost had their face split wide open. I’m actually a little worried now..
<6>
Not saying I want them to take it away again, but we might yet see some carnage as a result.

How fighters are not athletes? Are you stupid or something?

Islam is too small for WW and wont succeed. Should have stayed at LW and fought Ilias.

Chael took a dive fighting Anderson
I'd find that easier to believe if he didn't already have what 4 triangle losses up until that point anyway?
You can tell Chael doesn't munch rug, man's clueless when his heads between thighs.

GSP's loss to Matt Serra is one of the worst losses of all time, compounded by him actually tapping to strikes.

It makes GSP ineligible of being in the GOAT conversation.

Oh, and I don't care in the slightest if fighters are on steroids/drugs/HGH/masking agents whatever. I assume they all are cheating anyways.
